We’ve visited so many churches across the RGV looking for the church that felt like home and we found it in Logos. The Bible is boldly and honestly taught and there is a place for everyone. We became members a few years ago and since then our family has gotten involved with many of the specific ministries including women’s, men’s and kids ministries. If you want real biblical teaching and a body of Christ that loves deeply and honestly, I encourage you to spend a few Sundays with us.

As a military family new to the area, we started going to Logos in Summer of 2024 and joined shortly thereafter. Extremely warm and welcoming community of believers. Pastor Jeff is humble and a true servant of the Lord. Our son is involved in an active youth group and the Sunday children’s classes are wholesome and engaging. Lots of opportunities for community and small groups without feeling pressured or pushed into anything. Great music which is a mix of old and new. Donuts and coffee one per month, with lots of potlucks and events throughout the year. There is a focus to serve the homeless in the local community as well as missions to the extended world. It is during my time here that my son and I were born again in Christ through re-baptism. It is also the place where my husband and I participate in a marriage program called Re-Engage which brought us closer. We are so grateful we found Logos.

My family and I have been attending Logos Community Church for 2 years. We have been so thankful to be a part of a church that really prioritizes and cherishes the Word of God. Church leadership has been diligent in preaching the Word as it is, nothing more and nothing less. The expository teaching style that is used keeps sermons anchored to the text and allows us to study through books of the bible at a time all together in community with one another. Our children have been taught well in their classes as well, with teachers even repeating the same lesson two Sundays in a row to really get the kids to absorb the information being taught. This has been phenomenal for our littles and has inspired much growth. Praise God. Community groups are great. We are in a community group for young families. It has been amazing to have others to live life with that share our values, that encourage us, that keep us accountable, and that are growing alongside us. Logos Community Church is a place full of imperfect people running the same race, growing in intimacy with Christ and with one another. I love it!

I’ve experienced God at Logos! Through the preached word, through worship and through fellowship with the community here. It’s hard to leave Logos without being engaged with the Gospel in multiple ways. I also love that my boys are interacting with older youth who care for each other and care about being a disciple of a Jesus. Great community here.

Being part of this church community has truly been a blessing to me and my family. From the moment we began attending, we’ve experienced the love of Christ through sound preaching, genuine fellowship, and a strong commitment to discipleship. The teaching at Logos Community Church is firmly rooted in God’s Word — “All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16). Our family has been strengthened through community groups, where we not only study the Bible but also share life together — bearing one another’s burdens as Galatians 6:2 encourages. The worship is Christ-centered and reverent, leading hearts to focus on God’s glory and the grace of the gospel. We have also felt deeply cared for through prayer, encouragement, and the servant hearts of the people here. It’s a joy to see God at work in so many lives, transforming hearts and drawing people closer to Him. I love the people at Logos Community Church and thank God continually for this body of believers. “For just as each of us has one body with many members… so in Christ we, though many, form one body” (Romans 12:4–5). If you’re looking for a place to grow in faith, serve others, and experience authentic Christian community, I wholeheartedly recommend Logos Community Church.

Great Bible-teaching church. Not woke. Not political. Medium-sized congregation. Children and adult Sunday school, youth group, Community Groups (small groups meeting in homes weekly), Bible studies offered. We minister to the homeless weekly. We love Jesus!

Before I was a pastor here, I was a part of this church for many years as a member. As a family, we have been blessed by the sound preaching, community groups, worship, and care we have received. I love the people at Logos Community Church and love seeing God at work here!

My husband and I have attended Logos for almost 10 years. The church has grown significantly over that period of time and it includes people from all age groups and walks of life. Sermons are focused on God’s Word and the music ministry includes a mix of contemporary and classical favorites.
