Such a wonderful Church. As an Acts 29 church, I knew that it would be very gospel-centric, very biblical, good theology, with a clear call to love God, love others, and then go and take part in His Kingdom building. I felt welcomed and loved. In town to visit my son who is a counselor Pine Cove, we immediately looked for next 29 church, and living ax popped up. So glad, and will be returning this weekend!

Highly recommend. I didn’t get a cult-ish vibe, but I love a good Jim Jones story. While no kool-aid was offered a 2000 year old aged wine that covers a multitude of sins was given freely. This church was very inviting and many members came and introduced themselves. It was a pleasure to visit. :)

This church is part of the Acts 29 network, which toes the line of being a cult. As a visitor who came with a friend I did not feel welcomed at all. Two people verbally greeted me and a few others blinked at me. The men who preached seemed to be very wary of me and practically glared at me because I was wearing a very simple chakra necklace. Immediately after leaving I was disoriented and I am still drained of all positivity two days later.

We moved to Tyler years ago and started going to Living Acts. We love the the elder leadership, gospel centered focus and the heart for Jesus that believers have who attend. I highly recommend Living Acts Church.

Watch out for this church. Instead of leading people to Christ, the leaders (like James Adams) post judgmental posts on social media about other pastors around the world. Hypocritical. I guess only parts of the Bible apply to them.

For people truly seeking Christ, fellowship with other believers, and biblical teaching on how to live for Christ, this is the spot. Want to be led by selfless leaders who actively lead together, pray for the church and individual requests specifically and intentionally, this is somewhere you might want to visit. It’s not for everyone and it’s certainly not a feel good prosperity gospel type of church, but then again there will also be people Jesus won’t know in the end. It’s a church led by the spirit, not emotions, and church taught through the scripture, not through circumstances. Absolutely fantastic to see God working here!
