  I have not been to church in a long time. Been trying different ones around the area and decided to try this one. The parking was good and the people were friendly when I got there. The preaching was a little tongue in cheek, but that was part of the services theme at the time. Ended up liking it and now I have chosen this church to be my home church and hopefully will continue attending this church and getting more involved. Also joined a Bible group that the church has available.

  I attended this church recently and truly tried to give it a fair chance. Last week’s sermon focused on sex within marriage, and the message communicated to women was essentially that if they do not meet their husband’s sexual needs, he will find it elsewhere. That framing felt deeply troubling and inconsistent with the biblical teaching that we are first fulfilled in Christ and that each individual is responsible for their own actions. After prayer and conversations with others, I decided to return one more time. Unfortunately, this Sunday reinforced my concerns. During the service, it was stated that the message was not for those who are single, widowed, or in a season of waiting. At the end, couples were asked to hold hands for prayer, leaving others sitting alone. In that moment, I felt unseen and out of place. The Church should reflect the heart of Christ and make space for everyone, regardless of relationship status. I prayed before writing this because I never want to discourage anyone from seeking the Lord. However, I cannot recommend a place where people in certain seasons of life feel excluded. I will not be returning.

  After reading the one star reviews I’m Not going back a second time. My first time I felt unwelcomed like people were in their own world. I turned around and just left got back onto my car. I smiled at people but nobody smiled back. Buy, this church has great parking!

  The pastor’s messaging promotes outdated gender-role ideology, uses contempt-based humor toward women, and demonstrates a serious lack of trauma-informed understanding of domestic violence. That is not Christ-like leadership and it is not responsible pastoral care. I work in psychology and have academic training in domestic violence, trauma bonding, and coercive control. The research is clear. Healthy, stable relationships are built on mutual influence, shared power, emotional safety, and autonomy. They are not built on male-dominant authority models. Suggesting women stay in abusive relationships because of poor judgment or denial is not just tone-deaf. It is dangerously misinformed. Survivors often remain due to trauma bonding, financial entrapment, isolation, child safety concerns, and increased lethality risk when attempting to leave. Messaging that ignores this reality reinforces shame and can discourage survivors from seeking help. Using selective scripture to justify hierarchy is not strong theology. It is proof-texting. Song of Songs is widely understood in biblical scholarship as mutual poetic love literature, not a gender hierarchy manual. Faith and trauma-informed, evidence-based relationship teaching can coexist. Minimizing abuse, reinforcing dependency, or mocking women is harmful, regardless of intent. Impact matters more than intent. Messaging like this is irresponsible and just plain arrogant.

  The leadership and people at Life Fellowship are so welcoming, we felt at home right away. The worship has us tearing up and the word is right on point: “not church growth messages, church health messages”. If you want to get plugged in and grow with your family, this is the place to be! It has a perfect balance of kids, youth, young adults and adults with life groups and activities to serve and be served. Look forward to seeing you soon!

  While the pastor is clearly charismatic and skilled at public speaking (those with this personality type do), the sermons often resemble motivational talks more than sound biblical teaching. The messages rely on emotional appeal and personal anecdotes rather than thoughtful exegesis or doctrinal grounding. There’s also a concerning tone of arrogance and subtle manipulation in the delivery - using fear-based language and guilt rather than grace or truth to inspire change. I made the mistake of listening to one of his podcasts with his wife and his condescending tone to her was shocking. I truly hope the focus shifts toward authentic biblical scholarship for the sake of the members of this congregation - but I doubt this pastor has the education or humility to truly do that.

  My husband and I have been attending LF for seven years. We absolutely love it, we’ve seen the church body grow, & building expansions happen. It’s been a joy watching our kids grow up in this church and we know Life Fellowship is just getting started.

  Three services (soon to be a fourth) of wonderful praise music followed by really great preaching by Ps Chris Lindberg. They broadcast online via Facebook and a Roku app, to the men’s and women’s Collin County’s Correctional Facilities, and to the one in Bonham. We all look forward to going every week! Get coffee at their cafe (which goes to support digging water wells abroad) and get in a Life Group 😁
