This place was so much fun to visit. I specifically went during their Lunar New Year festival so it was definitely entertaining. But this place is also generally open to the public. So if you're looking for a chill place to visit and maybe offer up a prayer. This place is wonderful.

Such a great place. Participated in a meditation retreat here. Very clean and well organized place. Everyone is so helpful. We are so grateful for the master banthe and everyone in this jewel! Master banthe said "This is your home". We were so touched. Again we do really appreciate your kindness and generosity!

Extremely peaceful & beautiful temple. I come here for the Lunar New Year festival, night lanterns, & night market every year.

This temple is absolutely beautiful inside and out and the community is so welcoming. I was first introduced to this temple through the English Sangha Sunday mediation (2pm-3:30pm). From the moment I walked into the Buddha hall, I felt loving and calming energy. It was like a second home. I’ve been going every Sunday since the beginning of August. It is now my Sunday routine. 🙏 🪷

Wonderful temple with amazing Abbot who is truly dedicated to helping people through teaching Buddha-Dharma. The Sangha is very friendly and everyone in San Antonio interested in learning Buddhism should attend and support this temple. Although I only visited since I was traveling through I found this temple to be best in San Antonio.

I skated here but before I entered I asked permission from my lord and savior Jesus Christ if the welcome and entrance was safe and accepted by the gods and spirits on the other side of the gate and sure enough I was guided to step inside and felt peace joy as if everything I was stressing about just instantly lightly disappeared from my body I tour the rest of place and went back to skating it was an honor experiencing this temple very clean quiet very beautiful peace & love hope to be back soon

This place is a true hidden gem in San Antonio, TX. The grounds are immaculate, and you couldn't ask for a more beautiful temple. We went to the Japanese Tea Garden, and honestly, this place puts that to shame. We got lucky, because when we visited, there was nothing going on really, but in spite of that we happened to meet one of the monks (Bau?) inside the gift shop, who took the time to show us the temple and give us a tour. If I lived down here, I would be here every day!

Sacred place for a mindful walk and silent meditation. Hopefully all will respect this temple, it's grounds and the public will continue to be allowed to visit. If visiting please be respectful and observe noble silence and wear modest clothing. Please be careful of the garden and leave the grounds as you found it so it will remain open to visitors. Thank you🙏☺️🙏
