When I first walked in the door no one said anything, even after I took pictures still no one said anything. I finally took a seat out by the coffee area and still no one greeted me but I did see 2 families get greeted and shown around. I was 15 min before church. Now I'm being honnest, I felt let down in this MEGA church (really it's not that big) but for me as a stranger in this town of 600K people and over 90% Hispanic, this white boy felt a little out of place. But... I'm not at church for people. I go to worship my God and long to feel his presence even if it is conviction or joy. I will say this. After entering the sanctuary and sitting 3rd row right middle section (same place back home) and the worship team started... All the heaviness was GONE. I was able to sing twice as loud as normal cause the music was loud and since no one knows me I was able to LET GO, and just worship my King, was able to get personal and even had tears of joy. I know I blew the ears off the 4 people in front of me but sorry I had the best worship i had in months. So my point to this long post is this. Come here as you are... Don't worry about people and quit shopping for a church like your shopping for underwear... Go worship God and HE will let you know if this is your new church home. People WILL always let you down but God won't, if you truly trust IN Him. The pastor... GREAT. HE DID NOT WORRY ABOUT THE TIME. He allowed the Holy Spirit to move HIM and stopped his message to get Us the church to sing again and worship truly worship BEFORE he moved on to his sermon. I WILL return here anytime I'm ever in the area. It IS GODS HOUSE.
