I have two experiences with L. A. S. Ministries. The first as a volunteer at the food bank. I work two or three days a week and find it very gratifying. I also receive help from them once a week by stopping in and getting a weeks supply of food from them. This is truly a humbling experience. Thank you food bank for allowing me to serve and to receive.

This place truly feels like a blessing. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the amazing volunteers whose efforts made this possible. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and it means so much to many. Thank you, and may you all be blessed for your kindness and generosity.

This one is my favorite. The volunteers are the sweetest people. This is a weekly food bank. I highly recommend it when you need help with food.

Amazing place that is operated by the sweetest people with the biggest hearts! I have personally volunteered here for 2 years and can say that I truly recommend this to anyone in our community needing assistance with food. May God keep blessing this pantry & every single volunteer and customer that walks through Lake Area Shared Ministries.

Most of the older gentalmen there are very welcoming, and very helpfull they even load the food in the car for you. the food is a good variety of itam, yes the pastry items, veggies and bread don't seem to last as long as they should, they seem to go bad with in 3 days, but i don't think this is something that they could control. However the older woman who hands out the papers to people is incredibly rude and disrespect. I have to cut her off and talk above her to even get a word in, when you let her speak she talks to people as if they are stupid or beneath her. She makes me feel like a problem or like im not worthy and makes me not want to ever come back, Its hard enough to have to ask for a handout to feed your femily just to be judged by the first person you see. If you ask me she should be stocking the food instead of talking to people. Never thought I could see such judgment from a woman of God. But the other cheerful faces make it easy to deal with one bad apple

Absolutely love these guys that volunteer at the pantry. If not for the kindness of this place our community would struggle so much more. Thank you for giving the community the resources it so desperately needs and most of all your time and energy to make sure our community stays fed! God bless you all.

this food bank has a generous supply of stock items, canned goods, cheese, butter. Good for a family of 4 for 1-2 weeks. Drive into parking lot and they load items for you. God Bless all of the workers

Very rude woman working there on 1/31/22. told me "I don't want to hear it" When I tried to speak to her! Obviously doesn't want to be there. I wouldn't be there myself but as a senior citizen I need help at times she needs to keep that in mind when working with the public. ,

Lake shared ministry is a hostile toward others. You can hear them in their office having bashing sessions against people who go there for food. They behave as though they truly despise and hate others. It seems like their reason to run that place is to be able to see how much abuse people are able to take to get that little bit of food. Are they running the needy off so they can take more food home for themselves or do just enjoy hurting others? It's better to go hungry than to go to that place and endure their meanness.

I am on SSI and when I'm unable to afford food, they give you food to help you out. They can also give you information to help you with electric and other things. For me they do a great job with what donations they have to work with. They do a Great Job!!!

A friend of mine works here. I am blessed to know of this place because it's a food pantry. I'm helping raise 3 teenagers! Food costs a lot so I'm very thankful for food pantries. Thanks and God bless!
