All three of my children have gone here. My oldest has been going to Kids of Faith for 4 years and my youngest started at 8weeks and she’s going on 1. They treat my kids as if they were their own. My son is in love with Ms. Margarita and asks for her everyday. Ms. Katrina the director is also really great. She didn’t start out when we did, but since she’s been here it’s been a very good experience. My oldest is 7 and is in the after schoolers class & she loves it here. My youngest doesn’t usually like anyone but me and her dad but when I hand her off in the morning she smiles and waves bye to me like “okay you can go now mom”. I wouldn’t want my kids anywhere else but here. It’s like a family and with our bright-wheel app the parents are a message away from getting notified of anything that happens. I recommend this daycare to all of my friends and anyone else looking for a safe place for their kids to go.

This place has been amazing for my two kiddos! The teachers are amazing and the director is great. They made the transition for my kids from a home setting to the daycare setting so easy. It's like they are a second family and home! I appreciate y'all and everything y'all do, it takes special people to care for and love other people's kiddos like your own! Keep it up!!

Dear Friends, I am writing to share my deep concerns about the recent changes that have taken place at our longtime Daycare, and to encourage you to think carefully about the decision to send your kids there. For over nine years, I have entrusted my children to this Daycare, and until a few years ago, I had no major issues. However, with the arrival of a new director and administration, things have taken a turn for the worse. Recently, I had a distressing experience with the current Director, which has left me questioning the safety and ethical standards of the Daycare. After confronting her about an incident where my son was physically assaulted, I was shocked to find myself the target of false accusations made to Child Protective Services (CPS). It appears she took this retaliatory action against me before I could address her inappropriate behavior towards my son. What adds to the pain is the fact that the Daycare claims to be a Christian organization. As parents who place our faith in Christian principles, we expect authority figures in such an environment to exemplify the teachings of Christ. It is disheartening to witness behavior that is in direct contradiction to Christian values and teachings. I write this email not out of spite or personal vendetta, but out of genuine concern for the safety and well-being of our children. It is crucial that we, as parents, are vigilant about the environments we place our kids in, especially when it comes to their physical and emotional safety. Before making any decisions regarding the Daycare, I encourage each of you to thoroughly investigate the recent changes and incidents that have occurred. Speak with other parents, and if needed, request a meeting with the administration to seek answers to any questions or concerns you may have. Our children deserve to be in a safe and nurturing environment, surrounded by individuals who uphold principles of respect, compassion, and integrity. Let's come together as a community to ensure that the Daycare we choose aligns with these values. Thank you for taking the time to read this review and for considering the well-being of all our children. If you have any questions or need to discuss this matter further, please feel free to reach out to me. With heartfelt concern,

My daughter has attended Kids of Faith since she was 7 weeks old. She will be starting pre-k this year. I have had very little issues with this facility and any I did have were resolved quickly and professionally. Margarita and Michelle have done an awesome job readying her for big kid school. We will miss our friends tremendously when we start school.

My two toddlers have been going here for 3 years now, and there favorite teachers are Margarita, Michelle and Briana. They love the coordinator Katrina. This school has been so patient with my children and I am so thankful for all their help over the past 3 years and continued care. My kids have learned so much from this daycare facility, they are so excited to go every morning.

My 1 year old nephew goes to this daycare. There was an incident recently where apparently a parent left with the wrong child. No idea how this happens. Now they're IDing everyone when picking up children however oddly enough they're IDing biological parents but not family members on the pick up list. Also my nephew got bit and on the note it said he was bit because he wasn't sharing toys. He's one years old! Not sure if the child who bit him is related to an employee or why they thought it was appropriate to try to justify the reasoning on the note. Please do your research before using this Daycare for your children. Edit to add retaliation after previous review was made. Owner called my Sister up there to do recertification paperwork which is weird bc he's only been going there afew months. Turns out she lied to get her up there and then goes on to question my sister about the first bad review I left which my sister didn't even know about. This new incident was mid April. She asks my sister if she was notified of him being bit which she was that's how I found out. They said there " working on the biting". Then goes on to say about them IDing everyone wasn't really because a worker sent a parent with a kid that wasn't there's was a lie that she just said that as an example but she definately for sure told my sister that was something that did happen untill she back tracked & said she never said that. Also they are still only IDing my sister for her biological child and not my sisters girlfriend that is not a biological parent which still doesn't make sense. She then starts saying things like I'm ex military I make sure my kids are okay this is the first bad review I've ever had. Which a simple search shows it's definately not the first bad review but now I'm curious if they single everyone out who leaves bad reviews? Retaliatory type of behavior for sure. If they don't want reviews they shouldn't allow that on their page. Sounds like they have more to hide than just that. Maybe their worried bc they didn't properly notifying the state of a child being sent home with a stranger?? Idk. My sister was scared for me to leave another bad review untill my nephew was out if there for fear of them continuing to single her out or doing something to my nephew. What's even more weird is that she had to go through each child's file to figure out who's pick up list I was on to figure out which parent to target. This Daycare is super sketchy. Please be aware & watch for marks on your children and communicate with them about their safety. The ONLY REASON I did not notify the state was for my nephews safety and my sisters concern of retaliation. I wonder if they even notified the parents of the child who went home with a random person. Probably not.

Worst daycare in Abilene. The staff do not care about your kids. They do not watch them and they put older kids with babies and toddlers together. The staff stay on their phones in the gym and don't watch the kids. They let some other kid bully my 7 year old son the kid hit my son in the head with a basketball. My son has epilepsy.

I am posting this under my boyfriends account, I got fired from here a while ago, it was held against me that I called in sick when you're not supposed to come in if you are contagiously ill, my daughter also was sick on several occasions that took over a month to recover from. My 3 year old child came with me to this daycare, and she attended this daycare, the time I worked there up until I got fired she became secluded and quiet, she also came home in another childs pull up on several different occasions. They put her on the non-dairy list when she wasn't lactose intolerant. I was never told what she ate for lunch or for snack time. I also over heard the 2 year old caregiver yelling at the toddlers for going in there pull ups if they couldn't hold it in until potty break. In the handbook it says to not yell at them for having accidents, or if they couldn't hold it in. One of the caregivers also "checked" one of the infants when they were going home, she told the mother that she was dry when she was actually soaked from having so much pee in her diaper, all she did was check the back of her diaper.

As this being a 2 and a half star rating of a school I should have KNOWN better not to send my child here. They scream and yell at the children specifically Ms Margarita. They discipline the child if they pee on themselves or even if they spill their milk on their food they will yell at them and place them in timeout. I tried to make the director (Katrina) aware but instead covered for them. My child is 5 and is not used to that harsh behavior she has trauma as well they have no right yelling at any child. Shhe was mixed in with older kids and young kids. Thatt was another red flag too. Very unprofessional. Wouldn't trust them !

I called to see if I could enroll my child, and they explained, after I told them his age, that I'd have to come in to fill out an application. I went in, and they said they were full and to try again in a month or so. They seemed like I was bothering them every time I spoke to someone, both on the phone and in person.

Absolutely love this daycare I have a 1, 2 and 5 year old and all of them love it which is amazing since my kids have never been away from me and the teachers and ms. Bridget all made that transition so easy!

They leave kids alone, will report incidents that happened with ur kid without fully being aware of even whats going on. My son was being bullied and they blamed it on him. Also, I would catch them grabbing kids arms really hard and yelling in their face. Etc. Etc. none of these people are certified either

My son loves coming everyday and always leaves with a smile on his face. Teachers are understanding and involved with parents and the children.

Worst daycare ever. Literally fear your kids going here. They yell at them and yank them around even the baby babies. The pastor is unbelievably rude and the staff has no idea what they are doing, most stay on there phones and kids get hurt in gym
