The most important aspect of a church for us is the Biblical teaching, and here is where Journey Church shines. Pastor Sheldon Defries is a skilled expository teacher that clearly teach the full counsel of God with style, humor and excellence. The praise team is also well-presented and harmonizes with the sermon's message. The other important aspect is community, there are ample opportunities to connect with other believes and grow in your walk with our Lord. The children's ministry is a welcoming place for the kids to learn, grow and serve! Our Grandson is very eager and excited to attend Journey every week as we are too

I visited with the worship minister for about 30 and introduce myself as one of the applicants for the Minister place of service they are seeking to fill. He indicated he would relay a message to the selection committee regarding my short visit and letting them know that I only live about 100 miles income to Amarillo on a regular basis.

Friendly congregation with good message. Too much standing during service, but service starts early and let's out at 11:30 am.
