We love our little church. The congregation is welcoming, the worship is reverent, comfortingly familiar, and consistently meaningful, and the sermons are both biblically grounded and practically applicable. Our small groups strive to ensure everyone feels included through genuine fellowship and opportunities to serve.

I love that two different denominations have come together over 50 years to worship together. The sanctuary is warm and inviting with its many stain glass windows. The congregation is friendly and welcoming. The sermons are relevant and biblically based. Small groups for both men and women meet regularly. The pot lucks never disappoint or leave you hungry for food, fun, or laughter. The Parish is involved with mission projects within and outside Jack County. If you are looking for a church home that is actively growing in faith beyond its church walls the Jacksboro Parish is the place for you.

The Jacksboro Parish, a shared ministry between Memorial Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and First Presbyterian Church, is truly a shining example of what a faithful church family can accomplish. While our congregation may be small in number, never underestimate the impact we have on our community. The members are among the most devoted, compassionate, and generous people you will ever meet. If generosity were measured by the size of the congregation, I believe that the Jacksboro Parish would rank among the very best in all of Jack County. Our annual Lord's Acre Auction is a wonderful November tradition, with proceeds benefiting numerous local nonprofits and helping countless people throughout the county. I am incredibly proud to have been a member of this church family for more than 60 years. The love, fellowship, and commitment to serving God and our neighbors have made the Jacksboro Parish a special place for generations. It is more than a church—it's a family that faithfully lives out Christ's love through service and generosity.

The Jacksboro Parish has been my church home all my life. It is truly a community of faith, fellowship and commitment to serving our members and the community at large. As I no longer reside in Jacksboro, it has been wonderful to have the opportunity to take part in church services remotely and continue the connection to this special place. Although there is no replacement for In-person participation, it helps to bridge the gap. Thank you, Jacksboro Parish, for providing this livestream and for your continued commitment to growing and nourishing our members, near and far.
