The events are so fun! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is such a wonderful place to be, and the people are so kind. Each week, they do gospel study and also have activities that are fun for young people. Feeling close to the Lord with others is always a joy.

Five year update. Be careful at this location. Invited with a friend to an event, the lower parking lot gate track was damaged unknown to us and destroyed the bumper on the car. Church stated that there is nothing wrong with the gate and refused responsibility. They replaced the gate and track 2 weeks after the incident. So remember the church would rather spend unlimited money with lawyers then give a dime to fix/ do the right thing on their property.

Such an amazing place! Such kind people and the teachers and Church leadership are so helpful and sweet. It literally feels like home when I come here! A great place to learn about Jesus, to do homework, or even just to come and play some games with great people.

The Austin Institute of Religion is a little slice of heaven in downtown Austin for anyone wanting to study the gospel of Jesus Christ! There always seems to be a great class to attend, friends just wanting to hang-out or study, and the spirit you feel in the building is amazing! Come and see for yourself!

This is the place I met up with my wife to go on our very first date. It's also the place where we had our wedding reception. This is the first place I made friends when I moved to Austin 13 years ago. I have seen many people come and go and a few professors come and go. I have been spiritually uplifted and edified in this building. This place is a safe haven for me. I don't know what my life would be like if the UT-Austin LDS Institute did not exist.

Was with someone who was inspecting the landscape and upkeep of the church grounds. It wasn't very easy to locate or even know what the building was for and I worked across the street from it for almost half the year! Had very well kept grounds. Should make the signage a bit more noticeable for sure.

Institute was a place of refuge from the world for me during busy college days of study and work. It provided a retreat for me to feel peace, feel the Spirit of the Lord and be uplifted during Friday forums.

This is a place I just went for the first time, gave me a book to read. Had great food and met some missionaries and students and follower of christ. Prayed for me and hope to meet again.
