Confession, March 16, 2026 (6:00 pm) I was with a friend during confession today. Before starting, he very kindly asked the priest if he spoke Spanish. This was because he feels more comfortable speaking his native language when it comes to his faith. He was then told he should better his English because we are in America. Keep in mind this friend is a U.S. Citizen who speaks fluent English. Being told you need to change yourself in the eyes of God is disgusting and disrespectful to his faith. Seeing as this church does Spanish mass, you’d expect them to be much more caring to those who ask a simple question about language. Do better.

Confession, March 16, 2026 (6:00 PM) I went with a friend to confession today. Before starting, he politely asked the priest if he spoke Spanish, since he feels more comfortable discussing matters of faith in his native language. Instead, he was met with a disturbing and disrespectful response. he was told he needed to speak English because we are in the United States. To clarify, he does speak English and is a U.S. citizen. He simply feels more at ease expressing himself spiritually in the language he grew up with. Being treated this way for asking such a reasonable question was incredibly upsetting. It was disrespectful, disappointing, and completely contrary to the compassion and understanding that Jesus taught. Moments like this are exactly why people feel pushed away from the church. You can and should do better, this was disgusting.

Confession, March 16, 2026 (6:00 pm) I was told from a friend today that when he went to confess he kindly and respectfully asked the priest if he could speak in his native tongue which is spanish because he feels more comfortable in his faith this way. The priest proceeds with saying that this is america and that he should speak english. My friend is a US citizen and in the US there are no laws on what languages should be spoken in church. People are free do speak in any language they feel comfortable with and that should be respected! My friend was shaken up telling me, this is such an awful why to treat someone. This is definitely not how church is supposed to be and you should be very ashamed of yourselves. Do better.

Confession, March 16, 2026 (6:00pm) Accompanied a friend to confession. He kindly inquired to the priest if he spoke Spanish, since he feels more comfortable speaking in his native language when it comes to matters of faith. He was DISTURBINGLY and DISGUSTINGLY told that he needs to speak english (which he does) since we are in the United States of America (he is a citizen). Again, he feels more comfortable speaking in his native language for matters of faith. This is an absolutely DISGUSTING, DISGRACEFUL and DISAPPOINTING response. Not at all how Jesus would act. DO BETTER. This is why people leave the church.

Father Khiem presents THE BEST homilies. He does Not read a speech from Ambo. HE delivers from the heart and all ears listen when the Holy Spirit speaks through Fr Khiem. And the choir that sings at Sunday 3 pm Mass will move your soul. Angels sing in that group. If you like a good Catholic community, go to Immaculate Conception. I confess on Saturday with Fr. Khiem because you are a human speaking to a man of God who LISTENS with compassion and the mercy of Christ. Seniors, youth, married couples, consecrated singles love Fr Khiem. You will too. He brings Jesus, Mary and Joseph to God's wounded children. TODAY...DEC 12, 492 YEARS AGO...Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared to St. Juan Diego on a hill in Tepeyac, Mexico. Immaculate Conception Catholic Church had Mariachis, an absolute PACKED HOUSE OF GOD, and Matachines who danced for Jesus and Our Virgencita de Guadalupe. ANYONE who carries Mexican blood is a Guadalupano. I love when Fr. Khiem presides at Mass because he speaks beautiful Spanish. Tonight the deacon was on fire. !Que VIVA CRISTO REY! ¡QUE VIVA LA VIRGEN DE GUADALUPE! Today, 7January 2024 is Feast of the Epiphany. The Magi visit and adore the King of Kings, the Infant Jesus. Melchior, Gaspar and Balthazar leave Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh. Let all the world REJOICE and ADORE HIM who brings hope, salvation, love and ETERNAL LIFE!

I’m stuck on the fence of wanting to believe but not sure what to believe or if there’s really anything to believe at all. Someone suggested I make an appointment her with a specific person but I can’t remember exactly who. I hope this works out because the reviews aren’t helping my confidence at all and I’m trying to find something to believe but don’t have much faith in god.

not really reverent. everyone does oran’s posture during the our father, clapping at the end of mass, modernist music. this was all at the spanish mass so not sure how the others are. also could barely hear during the spanish mass, i don’t think any of the priests are fluent. not my vibe but very nice looking church, and good to see it has a big community.

Margaret was absolutely rude when I called. Tired to become a member of the church and she told me to go to a church in my own town. We don’t even have a Catholic Church in my town and that’s why I tried to get etablished here. Very upsetting to be turned down from a church. Consider looking into a different church.
