Will update with my new experience very soon. 2009-2011 when I was a lost unmarried childless woman they found me, introduced me to the extreme side of their leadership based faith. It was literal water in the desert, they were helpful and challenged me to give everything of myself without question. When I worked my way into favor it was a minefield of task and duties. These gave me a great sense of purpose and confidence that I still utilize to this day. I'm a much more seasoned individual now and realize we need far more community and action outside church walls to fortify a city, state, nation, and world. God is in, with, and around us all the time. I can not wait to reconnect in unity.

I have been at this church for 17 years. I am so grateful I decided to make it my home. I use to be addicted to cocaine and battled homosexuality. When I had my encounter with Jesus I saw his power and most importantly his love. I was transformed, but I had to do my part. The pastors taught me how to seek God in prayer and the scriptures and maintain my deliverance. One thing I realized throughout the years is that you will always have people who want to blame others in their walk with God. Grace is rarely extended and judgement always passed. A healthy church confronts sin and tells the truth. They grow in the process in which this is done. I’m so glad I learned to plant myself and mature. The people at this church are not perfect but they are honestly seeking God and you can feel it as soon as you walk in. I encourage anyone reading reviews don’t listen to the noise but see for yourself.

I have been attending IM Church for over 18 years. My experience at this beautiful place of worship has been unforgettable. I give God all the glory for allowing me to be a part of a congregation that truly loves people, edifies, equips, matures, and brings deep healing. I have walked through so many seasons of my life with the guidance of my pastor. Always being directed to seek Jesus and not man. I am forever grateful and thankful to God for bringing me to this church. I am forever thankful to Apostle Patty for teaching me and helping me in the hardest times of my life and for being there during the best times of my life. My husband and I have found a place we will always call home. Thank you Jesus for IM Church! We bless the church God has planted us in!

I attended this church in high school from maybe ‘07-‘09 I think. The facade of community, support, and unity was extremely enticing, especially for a teenager figuring out their identity and figuring out their place in the world. Ignite seemed to offer everything I was looking for at the time, but slowly the cell group leaders and pastor Patty began pressuring members to do more within the church even if it’s not what we were looking to do. Retreats were an odd experience where the group pressure to “speak in tongues” was ridiculous and having your demons exorcised from you felt like being forced to display this over-the-top act of emotion while simultaneously experiencing the “presence of the Holy Spirit.” If one has ever seen the documentary titled Jesus Camp, it’s very much exactly like that. It’s disturbing the forced group psychosis that this church places their congregation under, but especially the youth, the most vulnerable and most maleable of the members. Odd isn’t it? Slowly, over time, Ignite demands more and more of your time at church and with your cell group, taking time away from your family and friends outside of church, but it also begins to “brainwash” you where the only thing you begin talking about to everyone is Jesus and god. It becomes your whole identity and begins to isolate you from the ones you love. If you do not meet the needs of the church, group leaders would gently but consistently shame you for missing a cell group or service. I lost really good friends because of Ignite and almost lost a relationship with my mom. Once you leave Ignite, you are completely ostracized as church members, and even those from your cell group, are STRONGLY encouraged to no longer communicate with you for fear of pulling them from god’s path for them or whatever. It was truly heartbreaking. And then there was the aftermath of dealing with your mental health, your beliefs not being tied to a church, and grappling with the core of who you are and how previous beliefs clashed with one another. I hurt many people with my beliefs while an Ignite member and in the years following, up into my mid 20s. Now in my mid 30s, I can say I have moved forward from the dangerous indoctrination Ignite instilled, and can say that my values and beliefs now align with the person I am, which is loving, inclusive, patient, compassionate, accepting, and kind - all of the exact opposite of that Ignite claimed to embody, but behaved the opposite of. Religion and faith are great things for those who find it to fit their life, but be cautious of what places of worship and leaders within actually teach for it does not always align.

Last year when I moved back to El Paso with my little family I was broken and hurting and longing for a relationship with God again. We first started going to Ignite Movement in August of 2024 and I can say that we have found our church, our family. My husband and I have experienced the power and miracles of God while faithfully attending and serving at Ignite Movement. My kids have also experienced the Holy Spirit during children’s church and are always so eager to learn more about God. You can truly feel the presence of God in this atmosphere and you can feel the Holy Spirit working through all the leaders. I especially enjoy Wednesday nights at city group, this gives us a chance to connect deeper and share with each other how God is working in us as we learn through Bible study. If you are tired of being stagnant or feel stuck in the same season of your life come join us, God won’t disappoint!

Just started attending services here a couple weeks ago and the environment, the people and the WORD is all soo good. Really a growth environment all the way through. The Apostle is a sweet heart and mightily anointed but such a servant leader to ignite change, growth and healing in her church. The bilingual services really allow for an all encompassing impactful experience and encounters with God even through worship. I’d highly recommend!

My brother's friend invited me and him to this church during a hard time. My family had been church hurt for a couple of months, and we got invited to go to a Sunday service. I felt something that led me to go deeper into my relationship with God. I grew up in church but understood a little bit about the Holy Spirit, but when I was there at Ignite I felt something that pushed me to encourage to see God more but I kept denying it. After last year of helping out another church with their youth ministry and worship ministry, we came back to Ignite and I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit with me with a song he spoke to me, it hit me really hard and that's when I encountered his glory during worship and I could not stop crying. As I reflect back to now, I had been growing with the Holy Spirit all the way but I needed to realize what my mission is. Now, I'm welcomed by Ignite and helping out with their worship ministry and youth ministry too. God showed me my mission and its to help and reach the lost people to encounter the Holy Spirit through music.

From Nebraska to El Paso, I’m with them! I found this church online in 2021 and have been attending virtually ever since. Have visited IM Church in person twice! Everyone from Apostle to leaders and members gave me a warm welcome and are very kind and loving. 🫶🏻 The preachings are powerful, the worship is genuine. They make space for long-distance members like me, to grow, serve, and stay rooted in God’s Word. Being part of this church while living in another state has changed my life. The way they include long-distance members is incredible. I’ve grown in faith, heal and heal right. I found lasting friendships, and truly feel like part of the family. Even from out of state I feel seen, valued, and encouraged in my walk with Christ. I’m so thankful for the way they pour into people from all over, not just their local city. This church makes sure every person matters, no matter the distance. I have found My Church Home from miles away. I may be far away, but I’m right there with them in spirit every week. Grateful for a church that let’s me be part of the movement even from I different state! So if you’ve been looking for a place to grow spiritually, connect with others and feel God’s presence this is it. Don’t wait! Go and see for yourself this Sunday if you in the area of El Paso Tx. If not look for them on YouTube!

I have seen all these reviews on IM Church, and I can say I disagree with a lot if them. I have been going to IM Church for 3 almost 4 years now, I have a close relationship with all the people there and I for one feel welcome. Once I step in the doors each Sunday morning I can already feel the presence of the lord, the pastor there is very welcoming and she always makes a way to make me feel noticed she gives me a warm hug and smile. The worship is wonderful, I feel like I have freedom and have enough space to pray and praise, the worship team is amazing and very talented. After service food is always ready for the people, the café staff is very quick when giving out the food and coffees. In my opinion I highly recommend this church if your around the area. Hope you enjoy it!!
