Yesterday I visited this church after 11 years of not going to church and I sat in the back as most sinners do. I thought of my grandma and the way she loved church and I believe the closer I got to god the more she loved me. Yesterday I wanted to walk to the front and receive prayer but my legs wouldn’t move so I said to myself grandmama send somebody to come get me and take me down there and lord behold a sweet lady I never saw a day n my left walked straight to me and hugged me just like my granny I never felt more at home than I did in that moment. I will be back

The Pastor and members of the House of Refuge Pentecostal Holiness Church located at 1822 Bayside Street in Dallas, TX 75212 are very loving and compassionate people. They welcome you with open arms and make you feel as though you are a part of their congregation. The Spirit of God dwells richly in the mist of this congregation, I went to this church distraught, heavy burden, and rejected by my fellow man the Word of God came forth by Pastor Gervis D. Lacy, Jr. and delivered me from feeling distraught, lifted my heavy burden, and made me feel that I was truly loved by this congregation of saints. I thank God for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this great congregation where the spirit of God dwells richly; and Pastor Lacy and the entire Congregation showed me so much love.
