So my 1st and only visit was extremely disappointing. As I walked past around 6 people that are supposed to be greeters, not one person noticed me. I walked over to get some complimentary coffee when an elderly woman gave me a program without greeting or even talk to me. I wandered around without anyone asking me for anything. As I went inside pastor Brian introduced himself which lasted about 2.5 seconds and that was that. He walked around the auditorium talking to several families for MINUTES, even the family right behind me! However not another peep or question about my attendance. Guess people of color don’t matter to him. I stayed for the sermon hoping I’d get a good word or something from God but my experience as I walked out of the building was like at the beginning. No “thank you” or “have a good week.” Just a nobody that came and went looking for a church home. No good recommendation from me.

I was newly married when I moved to LJ and started going to Hope Fellowship, where my husband had previously attended. I was overwhelmed with the welcoming spirit I found at Hope. I have a passion for God's Truth and was very excited not only by the church's dedication to God's truth but also their love for people. They handled so many difficult situations with love, truth and grace. And I could go on for pages about their servant hearts!! An amazing church!!

Moved to LJ for a temporary assignment and wanted to get connected with a church. My wife and I have felt very welcomed here. Great sermons and amazing people. Highly recommend!

My wife and I moved to LJ after getting married (I grew up here) and were really struggling to find a gospel-centered church home. Somehow God pulled us to Hope where we have found great teaching, fellowship, and opportunities to serve!

I love Hope Fellowship Church. It is not non-denominational but as close as you can get. It's a great Bible teaching church with great people who have a heart to follow after God. * The Evangelical Free Church Association is a Fellowship of autonomous/independent churches, united around the same Statement of Faith.
