Message was a blessing.... Pastor Posey spoke from the sword... Praise music was a 2nd blessing , but a little LOUD as bein a visitor, I believe in music praising Our Lord, with all instruments bein used, may need to tone the loudest down.. Greeters at door was great, friendly group...

My family and I instantly felt loved from our very first Sunday. Not only were the people genuinely happy to see us, the worship service was anointed. We felt the Presence of the Lord very strongly and knew this would be our home.

BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front): If you like a loud, exuberant praise and worship session and a touching scriptural message, this is the place! I was introduced to this church because it's where my wife's family attends. On my first visit, the pastor (Rusty Posey) greeted me warmly at the door. We then found seats near my wife's extended family, and before long, the worship service started. The Praise And Worship Team consisted of a keyboard player, a drummer, an acoustic guitar player, an electric guitar player (my father-in-law), a bass guitar player (Pastor Rusty), and the praise leader. Lyrics for the songs were projected on the wall behind the team so the congregation could join in the singing. The music was very up-beat, and everyone was on their feet for all of the songs. To be honest, I guess I have more sensitive ears than other people, because I was wishing I had something to dampen the loudness. (I'll probably take ear plugs with me on future visits to help protect my poor, fragile little ears. 😜 ) Pastor Rusty transitioned from playing in the Praise And Worship Team to leading the service pretty effortlessly. His sermon kept in the worship and praise vein, and the message he presented was clearly heart-felt and scripturally-backed. He also fully embraces technology, telling congregants that they can view sermon notes and follow along with scripture using a certain Bible app! No question about it! If "exuberance" is your style of praise and worship, this is the place for you!
