  The Lord used this church to heal a lot of my church hurt. Growing up my dad was the pastor & I didn’t have the best childhood. My childhood gave me an incredible amount of hatred for the church because my dad represented the church for me growing up. This was the first church I walked into in over a decade. At first I didn’t like it. I felt so out of place. I wanted to leave but I stayed because this is where the Lord wanted me to be so I obeyed. Slowly over time, seeing how pastor Todd was with his own family started to heal that same hurt in me. After that I started actually listening to the sermons and could see how he lived them out with his own family. Little by little pastor told started knocking those bricks down one by one for me without ever having met me and gave me one of the best gifts I’ve ever gotten from the Lord. I now have peace in the body of Christ and being a part of it rather than being on the sidelines and trying to do it on my own. While I don’t live here anymore, this church is very special as is the pastor. Give it a shot. You might be surprised at what the body of Christ can heal when it is planted firmly on the Lord’s foundation just by being themselves and being obedient.

  It’s a great church for fellowship everyone is very welcoming and it is easy to get as involved as you would like to there is always an opportunity to jump in and serve or join a small group for what every you are looking for. The kids ministry is amazing and it’s focused on what Jesus said is the 2 most important commandments Matthew 22:36-40 love God love people.

  Just as pastor Todd said in his Christmas, I might have been born in California becoming California residents but now I am a cleburne resident. Thank you Jesus for bringing me to Texas and leading me to The Hope Church in the city of cleburne. May the Lord continue to lead me in my path, as I do volunteer work and help the citizens of this great nation to learn more about our Lord.

  Didn't go to the church I visited the outside 24 hr closet food pantry. A year ago it was kept pretty well stocked. For at least the last 8 mo it's been almost empty every time I've stopped by, having a couple cans of vegetables only. There have been times when there was outdated and rotten food or food that needed refrigeration and had not been for a day or so. I'm happy that they have a food closet just wish it stocked/maintained better.

  They don't judge! I have a great disdain for hypocrisy, so I can't stand when Christians judge. I've been going off and on for almost 6yrs, and they greet me every time like I never left.
