I've found this to be a welcoming congregation. When you come as a visitor, people introduce themselves and are genuinely glad to meet you! They provide a wonderful small-town-church experience. My friend hosted a ladies Bible Study (Priscilla Shirer's Elijah) and we opened it up to ladies from other churches as well. We had between 14 to 25 ladies present each day and we left feeling that we had learned something new and made new friends. Pastor Trey is a personal friend, we have stuck by him since he was a youth pastor. His sermons are biblical, easy to follow, and informative. Traditional Baptist hymns are usually sung, but Trey will occasionally throw in a more modern worship songs on his guitar. Overall this church lifted me up and made me feel like I was at home.
