I'm Team Brad Ingram! Most polite human being I have ever met. The way he brings people together, the way he unites people to feed the poor and needy is an amazing quality that is given from our Savior! Brad Ingram if you ever read this I'm rooting for you champ! This is very unfortunate and Tristin or myself will ever attend Hillside either here in Lubbock or Amarillo! Redeemer is the place to go for right now till you get your own chuch!

Today at service it was said to build up your wealth in heaven by your works for Jesus here on earth and your will be rewarded in heaven with gold and jewels and big house and you'll be more rich by doing more here. Well I don't believe Jesus would agree with this as we live in a world of greed and corruption and do not think heaven will be this way and to say what was said in church today only said just this I may need to find a different church because I don't want my kids to think that because they don't do enough they will be poor in heaven and all the pastors will be richer and more powerful then them . Sorry it shouldn't have been said in this manner. We all that put a faith in Jesus and are saved by Jesus will inherit heaven and will be blessed all the same. No will be greater then another. We all fall short of the glory of Jesus and God. I will pray you correct this because it came across poorly! Update! It's now been at least three weeks since this happened and no CALL from anyone at the church also I have spoke with people at the desk on Sundays and been told a few times they will reach out to me. I think it's time to look for a new church as they don't care for there people. I pray God touches them to correct these ways.

This was my first time attending this church, and the experience was deeply troubling. During the service, Pastor Tommy Politz described an island in Ethiopia as extremely dirty and then compared it to the likes of India to emphasize his point. As an Indian person, I found this comment uneccesary, ignorant, and hurtful. Using an entire country and its people as a negative comparison is not only inaccurate, but demeaning. Hearing this in a church setting made the moment feel especially disturbing and inappropriate. Regardless of intent, the impact of this remark was unacceptable. It reinforced harmful stereotypes in a space that should be safe and welcoming. For a first time visitor, this left a lasting and deeply negative impression, and it is something that deserves serious reflection and accountability.

They take teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ seriously. I say TEACHING and not preaching because the sermons are teaching from the word of God and not just an individual standing at the front saying, "Here's what I think and what you should do." I can't say enough good things about how this church family wants everything to be Jesus-centered. I hope you give them a chance! Maybe I'll see you soon!

Friendly staff. Great pastor. We go every time we visit my son and his family. My granddaughter was baptized last Sunday PTL!

Leadership (Amarillo/Greg & Lubbock/Brad) lacks a moral compass. Plain and simple. Someone told my attorney I threatened them with a lawsuit, when all I told them was I’d “go public” if they did something they shouldn’t do. Also, I’m 99% certain they aren’t giving camp scholarships to kids east of I-27 while buying movie theaters. Sure don’t seem to give back to the local community. Very Hillsong like. Never seen people wear baseball hats and flip flops to church, or a church put on a twenty minute concert to start their “show”. Took my kids to a real church on Easter, and my 13-year-old said “I’ve never seen a man wear a suit to church before”.

Can’t say enough great things about this church. First, the teaching is biblical and always deeply moving. We love that the pastoral teams work together each week on the messages. The music is great and our daughter loves the kids environments. Thank you, Hillside for such a wonderful ministry!

Great church! This has been my home church since I arrived in Lubbock. The pastors and greeters have only every been nice and gracious to me and my family. The pastor preaches messages which challenge my views. His teachings are intentional, powerful, and are derived from scripture. During the Covid-19 pandemic they handled the switch to online and slow regathering process amazingly well. The worship band is great too! I have not yet tried their small groups, but look forward to trying them come fall.

Went to visit our Grandkids and went to church with them. Everyone was welcoming and the Worship team nailed it. They sure did set the mood. The pastor was funny and 100% on his word.

I love Hillside, I've went there since I was a child (Amarillo) and enjoyed getting to hear my old preacher at this location. My daughter fit right in, in the nursery and the nursery workers were extremely sweet & caring. We'll be making this our new church home while we live in Lubbock.

Confusing. I watch online. Lubbock church, but preacher talks about services in Amarillo for Easter. ???? If I start to attend local service, will there be a different preacher? Will I be watching the Amarillo service on a screen? Song Leader is strange too as he tells you what line to sing next when it is up on the screen for you to read. Bad habit. I can read. I look online for help for the confusion but cannot find anything. I have seen multiple sermons, and after each one a communion is offered. Are you affiliated with Church of Christ? I'm just so confused.

Been going to Hillside since 2017, we love it there. Biblically based, and Christ focused staff. They have gone above and beyond to demonstrate the fruit produced in seeking a relationship with Jesus.

I am a member at the Amarillo campus and it's really nice that I can still make service when I visit my daughter in Lubbock. The campus is really nice and anyone needing a home church I would recommend it.

Church was really good this morming. There was no sitting in auditorium, but the message was AWESOME.This was our first time and all the staff made us feel so welcome. We are excited to see how a regular sevice is.As a veteran I suffer from a couple of issues and I didnt even start sweating from a panic attack. The pastor was great and very clear on his message.I hope we will meet some new friends soon.We live so far away ,but its worth the drive.Very refreshing.Peaceful.
