    Elizebeth Byerly went home to be with the Lord September 11, 2025. She lived 99 years. Many of them Devoted to GOD, AND HILLCREST BAPTIST CHURCH.     My husband and I have visited about four or five times this winter. The grounds and church are lovely and we were able to find a place to sit with no problem. The music was joyful and had an old southern feel which was very worshipful. Most of all we have liked hearing what the pastor, David Nugent, has to say to his flock! His speech is gracious and true and loving.

    The Pastor's sermon was thoughtful and uplifting along with his song he sung...the choir was beautiful and the lady that was the soloist, sang with a message that was absolutely beautiful also...if you are looking for a church family or just to visit, Hillcrest Baptist is the place to go...

    This church has been a wonderful place to visit. Such friendly and wonderful staff. Love the pastors since of humor. Teaches truth. Great place for my children to visit and where I feel completely comfortable for my children to be.

    Hillcrest is a very mission minded church providing service to people after disasters like flooding, hurricanes, evacuations. Our church may look big but inside it are ordinary people from every walk of life. Come visit and see if God has this church the right one for your walk with Him.
