  Hide-a-way Lake church took me in when I literally had no family. They gave me a place to live. The Pastor gave me a temporary job and they helped me get a fresh start on life. Everyone is so nice and they truly have your best interests at heart. The sermons are always Awesome and the band and choir are amazing. There are things for everyone of all ages. They have an awesome kids program where they keep the kids engaged in a lesson, activities,and crafts. It's truly an amazing group of people.

  My son and I have been coming here since Easter '25. We're both very happy with it, I think going has even brought us closer together. Now, we have a deep conversation every week around what was said during service. Such a great team of people. I'm grateful!

  What a caring, loving,community church. This church knows how to reach people by providing the community with a great space for meeting with like minded people. The Fun Friday event is a must try for babies- preschool aged children and their parents, grandparents or guardians. Thank you for all you do for the people of Hideaway and the surrounding area.

  Love this church! I am a member and we have the most awesome pastors leading our worship. There are two services (except during December) - at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. The music is always special with the more traditional hymns being sung at the first service and more contemporary ones at the second. Our church’s goal is not just to serve the congregation but to prayerfully consider how to reach the surrounding community as a whole. There are youth and children’s programs during the week and, of course, Sunday School classes for all ages. I honestly cannot imagine worshipping anywhere else. The members are so welcoming and caring. And, there is always a sermon based on scripture that applies to every day life. I always leave feeling renewed. If you are looking for a church home, please come visit.

  LOVE Hideaway Community Church! Excellent pastors, solid Bible teaching, wonderful music program. This is a very mission-minded church, both foreign and local, which I think is what the church should be about. Members are involved in serving the community. I’m involved in the music ministry and our worship pastor, Mark Richardson, is just the best. Our preaching pastor, Louis Mizell, preaches straight from the Bible. Our church is growing and I love everything about it!

  Love how this church fully participates in the Community of Hideaway. I am impressed with the programs for kids and young families like Toddler Time, Trunk or Treat, and Community Fall Festival. I am very pleased with the Bible based preaching we hear from the pulpit and in our Sunday school classes. We are blessed to be part of Hideaway Church. Lots of caring and sharing people in this church.

  The Hideaway Church is a beacon in our community of Christian caring and commitment. Their programs range from infants to retires in this diverse and changing community. They have a broad range of programs that address each age group and identify needs in the area such as “Men of Action” providing repair work for those needing help in everyday living, an extensive list of local nonprofits are provided funding to support their operations and the list goes on!   The best words to describe HAWLCC are home, family, and reflection of Christ’s love in all they do. There are many churches that get caught up in legalism or scripted routine just for the sake of tradition. One of the many things I love about this church is that everything done every week is rooted in prayer and reflecting our Savior. They love all ages well, from the tiniest of infants to the most experienced of the elderly, they always have biblical teaching and always jump to attention when the community has a need. Snowmageddan was a beautiful example of this when the church opened their doors with open arms to welcome any and all in to love and feed them during such tough times. But that is just one example of many. Before I ramble too long, I can just say that I would give HAWLCC 100 stars if that was an option. I raised my family in this church and am so thankful for the firm foundation and extended family this church helped provide my children. Come visit!

  I’ve been attending this church for close to a year and a half now and it’s a great church. The people there are kind and accepting and I’ve made lots of friends there and reconnected with old ones. They’ve definitely become a second family to me.
