My family has been connected to this church body since 1984. Now at its third Wonderful pastoral leadership we are moving towards a more contemporary worship. The atmosphere is relaxed. The moving of The Holy Spirit welcomed. As you enter, greeters shake your hand, host are at tables to inform of classes for adults or children. And the Welcome center cafe’ awaits for a caffeine wake-up moment with a doughnut to keep rumbling tummies at bay! The morning service has three to four songs, greeting one an other time, prayer, the Bible sermon and its application brought to life in the present times. A closing of prayer & alter invitation for salvation or prayer needs concluded the time or alter prayer is always open for any. There are in home Sunday evening groups where various styles of presenting God’s word is applied & friendships grown. Littles & up through teens have care, classes & the teens may have outings led in the facility or at the announced setting. Wednesday prayer in the sanctuary.& various adult classes to choose from. Littles up through teens have their classes also. What keeps us returning? It’s a place where family ties have grown rooted in Christ love. Church can be what one’s attitude makes it. If you look to nit-pick a body of imperfect humans apart you can keep hopping from place-to-place never finding “The Presence of God” or you can come expecting & in a state-of-worshipping your creator, The Lord of all, you will find Him. Here there’s no pushing folks into serving at any capacity but there are open classes to those wanting to be involved. Involvement is up to you… acquaint friends, well it just happens. Brothers & Sisters in Christ tend to just mess together! An attitude of gratefulness, thanksgiving & one wanting to Praise The Lord will fill you up to overflowing, ya can’t help but want to raise your arms with palms of hands upward and Love giving worship. Come expecting. God is in this place.
