Loudest church I've ever gone to. My son has cleft which affects his ears and after the loud music, hes pulling at his ears and screaming and won't let anyone come close to look at them. Never going back! It seems like they want to get the attention of a younger crowd, I'm 20 but oh my gosh, we want to hear the word of God and we want to leave with our hearing intact. Hate that we have to find a new church but when music and drums and lights trying to give off gen z vibes isnt whats important. We're leaving and not coming back. It's a loud atmosphere. When your own goers claim it's a plot to entertain maybe thats when you should take a step back and realize church is for God and not trying to entertain a younger crowd. I like the service when it's talking about God but when you are left with hearing problems after one of song, it's hard to want to stay.

I grew up in Stephenville and attended another Baptist church in town all of my life until I moved away at the age of 27. When I moved back twenty years, later some would think that I would probably return to that congregation. After spending time at Harvey Baptist Church, I decided to become a part of that family of believers. Harvey is a member of the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention and lives by Biblical authority. It is and has been a mission-minded church. I encourage you to consider Harvey Baptist Church if looking for a family of believers with whom to invest your life. And if you are in need of God and don't have a church home, Harvey invites you come meet our Savior!

This church has been home to my wife and I for the last year almost. We have come closer to each other as well as Christ through this church. we have tried almost every church here in Stephenville, (trc, ccec, etc.) and this is by far the best church here in town. if you want to get to know more believers, know Christ on a more personal level, and get to a better place in life through Christ, this church is for you

My family has been blessed to be a part of this church! The exegetical teaching and the friendly people set it apart! My kids have connected in the kids' ministry and love it. The church also has a great student and college ministry!
