I had a truly wonderful experience meeting with Pastor Blake and the team at Harvest City Church. From the moment we spoke, he was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuine. It’s easy to see that this church values community, compassion, and supporting others both spiritually and personally. One thing that especially stood out to me was the encouragement and kindness Pastor Blake showed during our conversation. He even took the time to pray for me and for success in my work, which meant more than he probably realizes. That level of sincerity and care is something that stays with people. Harvest City Church clearly has a heart for serving others and building strong connections within the Wylie community. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a welcoming church with kind leadership and a strong sense of faith and community.

This Church has pros & cons, the best thing about Gateway Community Church / Harvest City Church is the accurate theology, they don't mislead souls. Sadly this Church has become a semi-closed club, they don't build community around the Church, it's a Sunday morning or Wednesday night only place. Their ministries are very limited and focused merely on "The Word", that's their strenght. They don't bother with local charity or community activities for the folks in need. This place started going down when the new worship pastor came about (not sure that has anything to do with it). In 2025 the focus has shifted towards their physical building structure, there are very limited opportunities to connect and build community. Pray for this Church to rediscover the true calling of Jesus Christ, they have a huge untapped potential!

I walked into the church knowing I was looking to become part of the body of Christ to serve and be served. My husband has stage 4 cancer and when I shared this with the greeters they immediately connected me with people who could relate. Pastor prayed over me before service and thr leaders of a fellowship class reached out to me to invite me to join them. They have since supported us wwihh the meals and prayer. . I’m overwhelmed and I know God has answered my prayers for a church home. Thank you Gateway!

My wife Cathy and I have been attending Gateway Community Church in Wylie for 18 years. Gateway exists for the purpose of connecting people with God and one another. From the moment we stepped into our first Sunday morning service, I sensed a different spirit here — everyone was so friendly and welcoming. And I am happy to say that this has not changed over the years — you will not be a stranger here. Pastor Blake gives heart felt and impactful sermons from scripture and the worship service will usher you into the presence of God. One of the cornerstones of Gateway is our small groups that we call “Connect Groups” and well over half of our members participate in small groups. I like to say that small groups is where Church happens — we share our lives together here.

Friendly, Friendly, Friendly!!! Everyone is welcome at Gateway Community Church in Wylie. You notice it right away when you walk into Church the first time. They have all of the things you look for when you are looking for a new Church Home. You’ll find excellent programs for children like Childcare…Sunday School etc. They are well organized and they have an excellent orientation program where you learn the history of Gateway, explain activities, small group opportunities, and service options for those who want to be involved. Another VERY important aspect of Gateway is that they teach The Bible and Pastor Blake is excellent in explaining the Bible in his messages. I love my Church Home.

We have been at Gateway for almost 13 years and have really enjoyed it. Pastor Blake always has a good, balanced message straight from The Word and he is open and transparent. He is very approachable and is glad to speak with you and get to know you a little better. The worship is inspiring and really helps bring us into His presence with new songs along with some of the older familiar ones. Involvement is highly encouraged through small groups and serving in many different areas and there is definitely a place for you here!

My wife and I love this church. Very friendly and loving. Pastor Blake teaches from the Bible and doesn’t pull any punches about the truth of God’s Word. At the same time, he teaches with a heart of wanting all of us to grow in our relationship with God. Truth in Love. Our church family at Gateway is amazing. Fellowship is available with small groups. Kids of all ages are taught God’s Word in fun and exciting ways. This is our church home and we would love for anyone looking for a wonderful place to worship to come join us. You will be so glad you did.

If you are looking for a church home, I can't recommend Gateway Community Church enough! Pastor Blake and the entire leadership team are welcoming to all who come. The church is immersed in prayer - and you can see that in each and every ministry and outreach done. The children's and youth ministries are great - our daughter has loved her time here. We started attending Gateway in 2019, and knew after the first Sunday that this would be our church home! The church is like family and I encourage you to come try Gateway out next Sunday!

If you are looking for a church to call your home I encourage you to visit Gateway Community Church of Wylie. If you love worshipping, honoring, and serving God you will know you no longer have to search. We have such a welcoming loving family with a great pastor whom teaches straight out of God's word. Wonderful worship team, great youth and children's ministry and many opportunities to serve God together. Looking forward to meeting you soon! God's presence is fully and wonderfully felt.
