I just come here to visit the cemetery and read the historical markers and such. I like to swing by and pay my respects to Stephen f Austin's original burial site. It's well maintained and if y'all are into history like I am, definitely come wander the cemetery. Burials from the late 1700's to early 1800's up to recent burials.

There is a really great sense of history at this church. I have family buried there and the lady keeping the grounds steals plants and flowers of the graves. When I confronted her about flowers I left the day before she said that she takes home the ones that are dying, give them a boost, and bring them bash

One of the oldest cemeteries in Texas. The history is well worth a stop and look around.
