Details

Grace Lutheran Church was founded in 1956 and has been a cornerstone of the San Marcos community for over six decades. The congregation split from First Lutheran Church in 1954 after a growing need for a school led to the formation of a new congregation under the leadership of Pastor Paul Geiger. The church is now led by Pastor Craig Du Bois, who has continued the tradition of community outreach and mission work, including leading trips to Uganda to support local education and ministry efforts. The congregation is warm and welcoming, with sermons that deliver a solid message of faith and hope every week. The church building is easily found with GPS, and the worship service is available online with an ASL interpreter. Grace is committed to fostering fellowship and genuine connections within the community and beyond.

Absolutely the friendliest people. They go out of their way to help as many people and animals in need. Their kindness is what makes me believe in paying it forward. God bless everyone at Grace Lutheran Church and keep them safe.

What a true blessing this congregation has been in my own life. I've been attending regularly with plans to transfer membership soon. God is love. Grace Lutheran shines love in all that they do. So thankful to be a part of this San Marcos Texas foundation that speaks truth in love. John 14:6 NIV "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
