What can I say? This was where my roots were established. God led me here as a young Christian to sit under their faithful solid Biblical teaching that has shaped the trajectory of my life. Tim Conway took us young people under his wing and spent hours leading us through systematic theology for several years every Tuesday night. The saints on Wednesday night taught me to pray. The fellowship every Sunday went until we dropped. I still have faithful friends who care for my soul even after being gone for eight years due to moving away. If you want to sit under the word of God unfiltered and get help on your way to heaven and you live in the San Antonio area, I cannot commend to you a better place to be.

I asked to go to small groups tonight for the first time of attending the church in the pastor denied me because he didn't know who I was even though they have the small groups listed on their website just because I was telling him I didn't understand why I wouldn't be welcomed at a church gathering even at somebody's home and he kept telling me because he doesn't know me and I said then why do you have the address and information about these groups listed on your web page for everybody to find and see because they're at people's houses and even their addresses are listed online and he told me I still was not welcome to go even though it was a church gathering for everybody. And I said why are you not treating me like Christ can you set a lot of it was because of my defending my position of why I should go instead of just showing up on Sunday and then he wanted to ask me all kinds of questions about my past and where I was from instead of trying to make sure that I got to hear the word of God. I'd rather argue with me for a half an hour instead of trying to find me a ride for tonight from somebody.

"What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and yet looses his soul?" In fact, over my time, I am pleased to inform that the solid, Scriptural teaching at Grace is as important to the teaching team as to the "wheat." I am not seeing anything but goodness here. Thank the Lord El Shaddai.

I spent 3 years here and then left. I have had 3 or 4 years now to think about the experience. I would say go here if you are in love with Pastor Tim and the regenerational teaching he is famous for and you just want to go have some fun there. There are a lot of strong men here to learn from. I would say if you need help dont go here. Especially if your problems are related to demonic stuff. They just are not equipped theologically or spiritually to handle anything along those lines. There is some love here. There really is. But overall I left grieved at the head knowledge that was way out of balance compared to the amount of love here. A few people here really cared but they were not even close to enough to meet the need. I would say if you need help just find a local church where the people actually care about you with genuine love and will have your back when things are down. You will be way happier in the long run doing that. And find a church where they deal in the supernatural. Dont rip those pages out of your bible. Lookup Tb Joshua.

If this is the same Church with Pastor Tim, He is a wonder from God. There aren't at all many that get so passionate with the Word and the hope that the people become real Christians. Just what the Holy Spirit works in those who sell out. You can't help but get the gospel or leave. I really appreciate him and want to come visit the Church, just to hug him for his dedication. He really helps me. I learned from John MacArthur and Tim really is the next I seek. Great work Tim stay strong.

If I was in Texas I would be at this church. Even if I had to drive 10 hours! :D If you are reading this and are looking for a true biblical church, stop reading and go. This church is a lamp in the darkness. The elders are the most godly men I have ever met. The teaching is so sound and Christ-glorifying. So thankful..........

If I would've stayed in San Antonio I would definitely make this church my home not only are their teachings biblical ,the pastor is a very biblical pastor as well ,the church is very Christ centered . Unfortunely Tim is out doing missionary work but there are other great pastors in this church as well .

This is a wonderful body of Christians. They love the LORD and are zealous about evangelism, missions, and experiencing God. The preaching and fellowship is very edifying. The leaders are humble and godly. The doctrine is Biblical and well-balanced. We love GCC!

My husband and I attended this church for the first time last week. The 'word' from the Pastor was 4/5 stars imho. It gets very crowded and people had their things (bible, purse, cap) set on chairs to show they were taken even they weren't sitting in them at the time. We sat way in back where we found 2 chairs together. I prefer to be closer , I can be more attentive that way. We shall definitely arrive earlier next time. Everyone pretty much kept to themselves or with people they already knew, I am assuming members. We didn't have any interaction with anyone except for when we were leaving. A few men sitting against the wall shook our hands on the way out. Overall It was fIne. We were there for the word and we received it!
