  When I first got to Borger, Texas, I asked around for a good church, and three different people all pointed me to Grace Church—so I figured, alright, let's check it out. First impression? The place is alive. The church is a decent size, not overwhelmingly big but not tiny either. The moment I walked in, I was greeted right away, and the people were genuinely friendly—not in that forced, awkward way, but like they actually wanted me there. They've got a coffee spot (big plus), and the front area was buzzing with life—families talking, kids running around, people genuinely connecting. It felt warm and welcoming. Now, my wife is planning to visit during spring break with our kids while I’m working at the refinery, and we’ve been looking for a church with a strong youth and young adult ministry—something we don’t really have back home in our small town. So, I was checking things out. I walked into a room on the right and saw a fantastic kids' area—a stage, arcade games, fun activities. I thought, “Man, my wife is gonna love this,” so I pulled out my phone to snap a picture. That’s when three guys came up to me—not aggressive, but definitely wondering who I was. Totally understandable. Once I explained, they actually gave me a tour. And let me tell you, the youth and young adult areas? Just as impressive. Games, arcade machines, comfy couches—just a great space for young people to connect and grow in their faith. They also have tons of connect groups, which is awesome if you’re looking to get plugged in beyond just Sundays. Then they took me into the main auditorium for service, and I gotta say—get there early for the 11 AM service, because it gets packed! Now, about the service—I saw the pastor at first and thought, “He looks kinda young—wonder how this will go.” Well, he proved me wrong real quick. The Holy Spirit was moving in that place. At one point, they prayed over a family, and people laid hands on them—I won’t lie, I got emotional. The worship team? Absolutely incredible. And they had a cello. A CELLO. That just took things to another level. The music wasn’t just songs—it was worship that you could feel. Then a guy gave his testimony, and man, it felt like it was speaking directly to me. And the pastor? Full of the Holy Ghost, kind, funny, and just real. No sugarcoating, no fluff—just truth, energy, and passion. I also met some great people who invited me to men’s Bible study, and let me tell you—it was solid. Real talk, real faith, real brotherhood. Now, the one thing I found odd… they don’t live stream. Even the tiny church I go to back home live streams, so I was surprised that a church with this much life, energy, and anointing doesn’t broadcast their services. I asked about it, and they said they’re thinking about it, but they want to do it right when they do. I told them: "All you need is a good phone, a solid tripod with a tracking feature for the pastor (because he is lively!), and YouTube. Start small, then upgrade later!" Because honestly, what’s happening in this place needs to be shared with the world. This is the kind of church people need to see, not just hear about. In the middle of nowhere, Texas, there’s something powerful going on at Grace Church, and more people should get to experience it. Bottom line—if you’re in Borger, TX, check this church out.   I am the Pastor that has recently left Grace Church and I wanted to clear the air. Grace Church is my family's home. We love the Church staff, the community, and all Grace has to offer. We are still attending Grace Church and will be involved in other ministries within the church in the future. We have been truly blessed by this Church, even in exiting. The Lord calls us to different places and season that we never see coming and don't understand, but in that all He asks is that we trust and follow him. This is a new season for me and my family and we are excited for it! As for the income we were given a severance package that has met our needs in the process of looking for a job. This Church is an amazing place to attend and raise your family!

  I absolutely love going here. I’ve never met a church family that’s so willing to meet me in my mess. I have been loved so deeply and strongly by the staff and members. These are people that will not only love you at your worst but help to pull you out of the mud. They amaze me with how they are not only the hands and feet of Jesus, but a reflection of His heart too.

  I love Grace Church. A huge variety people that love to love people and help the community. Everyone is welcome here. Come "as you are" is always ok!! None of us are perfect! Just forgiven! We all know that we need Jesus.

  How dare the founding pastors fire the experienced dedicated youth pastors for no reason. They have dedicated the last seven years of their lives to Graces Children and the works of Jesus. All to be fired and let go for nothing. A family of 7 people without income now.

  My papaw and granny went to this church - my papaw passed away recently, and we had the service here. It's a beautiful church. Very big, very accommodating, lots of stuff for the kids, a coffee bar, and great pastors and great people who work there.

  I personally contacted the church for help and guidance in my life and was told that I needed to fix things in my life before they would talk to me. Just found out the pastor and church elders or whatever they are called fired the youth pastor after he dedicated his life to the youth of the church simply because he requested a raise to be able to take care of his growing family. This is why people leave churches and are disgusted with them. Don't you dare tell anyone that you don't have the money to pay those that serve in your church. It's disgusting. Joel Osteen much?

  Marshall and Patty and all the fellowship leaders are warm and welcoming and the membership is diversified. Seems Marshall always knows what I need to hear...even if I don't! Love this church!

  Where do I start? I kept extending my visit to Borger in order to spend one more Sunday at Grace. I live in the Dallas, TX area and my husband has been working up there. I had gone up to visit for a couple of weeks and we decided to check out a couple of churches in Borger. It was God's plan for us to go to Grace that first Sunday morning. My husband cannot stand to be late and the church we were supposed to attend that morning started at 10:30am and it was about 10:40am. I told him that I had the address to another church written down and it started at 11am. He was pleased that we weren't going to be late. Pastor Marshall doesn't fit the "stereo-typical" pastor mold and that made us feel comfortable right off the bat. When he spoke and gave Scripture references to his "6 Ways to Know What God's Will in Your Life"...I could not write fast enough. My husband is the type that will go to church with me because he's a good husband and he knows it makes me happy, but this church was different. We went back the next Sunday and the next Sunday was the big Men's Retreat and we were wondering if we would get as much out of the message. Well, Patti, Pastor Marshall's wife is in the ministry as well and was equally as awesome as her husband. Wow, God's Spirit fills this church. There are ALL types of people in that sanctuary that probably would not ever be in the same room otherwise, but everyone comes together to Praise and Worship. Not sure if that was very clear, but when I was telling my mom (back in Dallas) how much we loved this church...I said, "Oh my goodness, it is so cool. The pastor and his wife both preach and they are so open and keep it real, but always backing up what they are teaching with Scripture. There can be a sweet little man in a suit sitting next to a young man covered in tattoos and nobody cares because we are all God's children. James and I get in deep discussions about the message during lunch. We discuss how passionate Pastor Marshall and Patti (not sure if it's supposed to be pastor as well) are and how talented and gifted at sharing God's love for us. We also discuss more during the week. That is why I kept extending my visit." I said a lot more to my mother, but I want to try and keep my review to....less than a novel. I had to get back home, but James went this past Sunday...by himself and that is huge. I went to my church here and he called me that afternoon to tell me about the message. I am so thankful that we were running late that Sunday morning. Since I live almost 7 hours away, I wish I could watch or at least listen to the services. There are so many powerful messages and the Worship music is amazing. The Message could reach so many more people if they made it available online. I would be happy with a YouTube video. It doesn't have to be professional or anything, but in the past 5 (6 for my husband) weeks...we have learned so much and are attempting to apply that knowledge to our lives. I will definitely return every chance I get!!
