  Where do I begin? Yesterday while out with my daughter whom recently moved to Lufkin we met two sweet ladies Rev. Rodgers and Ms.Jolene. After a sweet conversation with those two gems my daughter's and I were invited to visit Goodwill Baptist Church. I have to say I enjoyed the service and it brought back memories of going to church with my Granny as kid. Bishop Lyons preached a word today! I wish I didn't live 4 hours away because I'd definitely make Goodwill Baptist my new church home. I will be back to visit that's one thing that's for sure. Thank you all for being so hospitable to me, and my daughter's. Thank you again Rev.Rodgers for inviting us to visit. Thank you again Bishop Lyons for the much needed word this morning.   Dynamic! I love the Bishop and the entire Goodwill family. Every time I I get an opportunity to be in Texas I intend to attend service there. Bishop Lyons is an excellent speaker. I was blessed to be in service last Sunday- what a blessing! My daughter and great granddaughter attended. They’re planning on returning to Lufkin within less than a month to start looking for a house so that we can relocate to Lufkin.

  Great place to worship, learn and grow spiritually. Bishops Lyons is an awesome annointed leader who love working with all ages. Very comfortable atmosphere. You can dress up or dress down. Come as you are and grow spiritually to be apart of a great worship experience.

  Goodwill Baptist Church in Lufkin, Texas, what can l say? "The Will" as it is called, is one of the most hospitable churches that we visit. We leave Dallas for the trip to Lufkin by way of a chartered bus no later than 7:00a.m. and we are met by smiling faces of their membership when we arrive. If it is raining, the deacons of the church escort us off the bus with umbrellas and safely into the building. The last two times that we visited "The Will" my mother, who has had 10 strokes has accompanied us. First Lady Tiffany Lyons and the ladies of the church made sure that my mom had a place to dress and recuperate before entering the worship service. We always have a hallelujah good time in worship service because of Bishop Lyons, the praying, singing and preaching, then we are treated to a home cooked meal before going back to Dallas. Goodwill Baptist Church in Lufkin, Texas is a church that you should make plans to visit!
