My husband and I have been attending Good Shepherd Oak Cliff for two months now, and we've absolutely fallen in love with it! The community here is so warm and welcoming - we felt at home from our very first visit. Beyond the friendly atmosphere, we've been consistently impressed with the solid, biblically-based teachings. The messages are thought-provoking and relevant to our lives, and we leave each service feeling spiritually nourished. We're so glad we found Good Shepherd!

Small church that feels really intimate! This church has a lot of traditions and motions that feel special. Pastor Andrew and his Pastoral Resident do a great job at the pulpit!

We love attending Good Shepherd. We appreciate its' small size and the semi-liturgical style of worship. Most importantly, we appreciate the weekly culmination of worship with the Lord's Supper.

As a man with a rough church history, I was skeptical about returning. About two years ago, the lead pastor, Andrew Franklin, approached me at the bar i was working at. He invited me to a backyard meeting with the prospect of these meetings evolving into a church plant. Hesitant, I attended, and I was taken aback at how ‘at home’ I felt with these people. Over the past two years this church has given birth to my greatest friendships, people I can call on anytime of struggle or prosperity. Good Shepherd Oak Cliff has a philosophy that emphasizes community without compromising on any doctrine or orthodoxy. Without selling out to any particular ideology other than what the true historical Jesus envisioned, Good Shepherd has cultivated an experience that is hard to not identify as ‘home’. One may be concerned that something so familial is cliquey or exclusive. Yet almost every time I meet with a Good Shepherd friend, a new church attendee is hanging with us as well. Good Shepherd is one of the greatest things to happen to me.

Welcoming, sweet, genuine community! Excited to see what the Lord does in building this church and community, and how they will continue to grow and lead people to Jesus in love and serving others.
