Small country Baptist Church, great people and a great Pastor spreading the Lords message straight from the Bible.

One of my grandmother's was a member there as well as my great grandmother.My father grew up in Golden and attended services there with his grandmother before he could walk there with her. My parents were members. My beautiful sister was too. My father was a decon and my mother as the treasurer at one time. I attended church there as a child when visiting from Dallas many times. My father loved to sing and it brought him joy to sing with friends there.i can not hear an old hymn or sing along with one without thinking about The Golden Baptist church and my father's deep voice and passionate signing there. Brings a smile to my face and those that knew him know what I mean. Until he became ill.and before his passing he rarely missed a service. Precious memories and lots of love and worship for a small congregation. I'll never forget it. Although I didn't live there, the Golden Baptist church has akways been in my life. If you’re youth age they have a great Tuesday night group that I enjoyed going to a lot and would recommend for homeschools especially. They play games, have a Bible study, worship, eat and talk. So if you get a chance head over!
