Can y'all believe this...I'm a senior citizen and I ran into some significant problems therefore, I was homeless for a short period of time. I went to Godtell in Nacogdoches to find shelter until December 1st. which was only two weeks away, then a house would be ready for me. Well, the gentleman that works the front desk informed of the rules..said they were a CHRISTIAN organization and that we would be required to attend bible study, which was fine with me because I love the Bible!. He went on to say I should come back at 4:00PM ..there would be a lady to talk with me. I said fine! I went on to further tell him I did have a job that I'd been on for a long time...part time, just didn't have a place to stay unil 2 weeks from now. I got off my job at 7:00 PM. He said I'm sorry you can't stay here because you'd miss bible study. I told him I could make it here about 7:30. He said it only lasted for 15 min. I asked him what if I showed proof of my working hours...he simply said no. The lady wouldn't make any exceptions! I've caught hell staying/sleeping in my car and maintaining my job😭. But thank God, I'm almost settled into my house, WITH NO help from Godtell Homeless Shelter in Nacogdoches, Tx.. I quess if I would have quit my job, I would have had shelter for a while. I just thought I put that out there for to whomever it may concern. Peace

Godtel changed my life by providing me a safe place to stay, while learning about the Lord Jesus Christ. I appreciate all you've done for me. I still use your name in my testimony today (6 years later). Keep up the great work! ~Cory
