Welcoming, friendly, inviting and caring. Ive been going there for almost 3 years and services and tailored to local needs of the community and is spiritually nourishing. I really love our new Sr. Pastor Daniel Floyd's take on how to protect the peace God gives us.

Came here as a SAHM during my divorce with 4 kids in tears not knowing what to do or where to go and a week away from being homeless. The woman working here told me, “We don’t give handouts we give handUPS💁‍♀️.” She told me they could offer something like school supplies but I’d have to be a member and put in the work first. My situation was emergent and terrifying. This was after reaching out to many other churches in the area and being ignored. So I lived in my car and parked at a hotel at night for the WiFi and Walmart during the day. Peed in a McDonald’s cup. Had to leave my kids with their dad during this time so I missed them terribly. I had 2 hamsters and a cat with me. The woman I spoke with here didn’t ask me what I needed, she cut me off before we could even dive into the conversation. I wasn’t looking for a handout. I was hoping she knew someone who was hiring for work or could put my name and resume out there for me. With no work experience and 4 kids I was at a huge disadvantage and only wanted to have a job. I’m willing to put in the work I was just in need of some compassion so I could get my foot in the door. I have lost all trust and faith in the church after that. I believe their love for their community is transactional and not selfless. It’s so disheartening.

Round 1 next comes in letter forms year or so from now every church in america will hear my cry & what i have to say expeciallg tx because you get no second chance my worth based on my heart its golden jesus said if its pure, rightous & done with good intent do no hold back 300 million can hear what i gotta say if thats what it takes u wanna mass bullying me? Imma mass loving u the bible warned of the churches being written well were gonna be the very first one to do just that i love u more then i love myself ? Id die for u period ! I know my worth to gain me u make a committment i want the keys to the door & u vow forever what happens in & out these doors u keep amongst us i wanna hug u an bring gifts for u an hold your door an hear about you aunt betty an uncle john an what u did last week im not just your sunday member im the one who wants to help every chance i get u need your walls painted i gotchu free what i did for u i did for jesus , an with a smile & done to the best of my ability i want the very back seat u all come first in my heart , i wanna rent a theatre out an let 100 of u whats that at 4 per family average 25 families a movie to watch suprised by it , after how yall treated me not being specifc i have nothing to say that this specific church has done to me but 20 or 30 others have horrifically tormented me without mercy in tx? Thats dead after all these years if u were mewoukd u ever enter one of your doors? I dont need u to teach me about jesus ive been born again almost 13 years i just finished the new testament it took 4 or 5 years it was scary & magical an beautiful intertwined i wont say demand but its gonna take a committment an thats after we get out of tx i want the keys to the front door its not about if their ever used its i have faith & believe in you & am committed to , a church here not this one is the loveless church , il be there twice a week what u never noticed because love is almost dead hey this is beautiful ? I assure u love exist , realness an sincerity i 100% in the name of jesus speak truth to you it is not dead its rare as hell but its out here i get it ive never trusted 1 person in life id be skeptical also so i understand we earned it we dident ask for it i want nothing from u thats the thing i just eanted to love u an be loved i wanna know u all not u specifically by name . JESUS is love & it aint dead we never found or witnessed it before but in a world full of chaos , wars, death, hurt , pain & the lack of care or concern i stand with my habd raised under oath in the name of Jesus assuring u because i lost faith in humanity that we do exist & we been hurt an we refuse to allow it to happen again so we stay quiet this came from pain i been homeless, i been hungry , i been cold , been in foster care , been the last one chosen , been the one nobody noticed this kinda love comes from experiance we know what it feels like so when folks say im a good person im like so u had a life of priveledge not saying your bad anbmaybr who knows but most how did i suffer i know noone who has had a harder life noone i know of like bad bad yet u gained a good heart but having everything easy ? You praise god when everything is gpod let it all gall down an watch u lose your praise it dont get no worse then it got for us as bad as u can go we went & the first 1 we ran to was Jesus cryed an ocean i dident know a human could cry that hard it stunned us a thousand nights over not once or twice i cry often i cyred a day ago true tears not 1 or two but dripping what i call dripping blood tears thats expensivr pain love came from the dirt from the pain it came from thats all i had was god yeah imagine that anyways i love you may godbless u i wish upon u laughter peace & joy forever & ever ame thank you for your time bye my babies 1 by 1 remember this wasent directly intended for this church

This is a good Church. It can get very busy so I recommend the Saturday night or 09:00 am service on Sunday. I do wish the sermon was preached live, but it is still a good experience and I really enjoy it.

Gateway Church is a truly Spirit-led, biblically grounded church that my daughter—who is currently attending TCU—has made her home. I am incredibly grateful for this church community and the role it’s playing in her life. Despite its past challenges, God is clearly restoring and working powerfully through Gateway. Don’t let the old scandal keep you from experiencing what God is doing here now. The new pastor is anointed, teaches straight from the Word, and is led by the Holy Spirit. His messages are both convicting and encouraging—they challenge you to grow in your walk with Christ. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed with genuine joy. Even in the parking lot, people greet you like you’re already part of the family. The warmth, love, and excellence in everything they do reflect the love of Christ. I couldn’t be more thankful that my daughter has found such a solid, uplifting, and Christ-centered church home during her time at college. Gateway Church is doing it right—and doing it with love.

My family has been a Gateway member for about 10 years now. I love the convenience of being able to watch it from home especially with how busy my schedule is. This last Sunday, I was able to witness my niece be dedicated. I have to say, what an amazing experience Gateway offers from the family side. Obviously, Gateway offers more than the usual church ⛪️ but it’s amazing to see what the church staff can do for you on an event like this. Y’all simply are doing it right. And thank you for what you will continue to do for my family.

What a wonderful place to find a body of believers truly following Christ! There is evidence here that the spirit of God is working and moving through his people! Unconditional love and real support for any situation that you're facing. So many wonderful activities, learning experiences and outreaches to be a part of, for any person, any age, any background. What a beautiful display of God's true love and action!
