Pastor Kason Huddleston is truly a gift to our community. I cannot even begin to express how grateful we are for him at Rest Haven Funeral Home in Rockwall. Time and time again, Pastor Kason has stepped in - often on very short notice - with grace, compassion, and an unwavering servant’s heart. In this line of work, things don’t always go as planned, and there have been many moments where a family needed immediate support or a last-minute change was required. Without hesitation, Pastor Kason has always been there. He has an incredible ability to meet families exactly where they are in their grief, offering comfort, warmth, and genuine care. What makes him special is how beautifully he balances preaching the Word while also honoring the individuality of each life being celebrated. Every service he leads feels personal and authentic - never rushed, never generic. Families consistently leave feeling seen, heard, and spiritually supported during some of the hardest moments of their lives. We are beyond blessed and lucky to have Pastor Kason as someone we can count on and trust wholeheartedly. He is an incredible pastor and a true professional who makes certain that the Lord’s presence is felt in every service and sermon.

If you are looking to hear God’s truth from the Bible this is the church for you. From the moment I walked in I felt like I was at home. God is moving in and through this church family. The sermons are amazing, and the worship is always so good. There is a great children’s church as well.

We have been members for a couple years now and love our church home!!!! Pastor Kason & April are such wonderful, loving, caring people as well as all of the members!! Every time we walk in the building we can feel the presence of God and are always touched by the message. We know we can always ask for encouragement and guidance from anyone, and have loved getting to know everyone on such a personal level. God is definitely moving in FPC and I can't wait to be apart of it!!!

Pastor Kason speaks truth in love. Each sermon on Sunday is taught from the Bible. I've been attending church with Pastor Kason as the Head Pastor of the church for over 14yrs and have grown so much that my personal life, family, and spiritual life are so much better than when I first started... proof in the pudding; a testament to the power of God and what Pastor Kason is teaching us and directing us towards. Truly blessed to be a part of this church and church family. Suggestion: Get involved in the occasional Bible study as they will provide you time with other like-minded people as well as further break-down things in the Bible so it's even more easily understood, which I find is the most encouraging part of attending a church.

Small coffee house-style church with the greatest folks and awesome pastor. You will be blessed tremendously by Pastor Kason's great sermons and the worship time and team are very anointed. The fellowship opportunities are great. If you are looking for a home church, you have found it here, I promise you. I drive over an hour to come to Rowlett for this great little church. I say little, it is already starting to outgrow the space. Good gospel spiritual food served up here.

Freedom Place has a really fun, inviting youth group. You will love the leaders who are amazing and just get it. The Ladies Club meeting is amazing also. They meet every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. I love this church.

This church serves the community .There is a feeling of family instead of what’s in your pocketbook or wallet. This is an outreach church not a stay inside church. And it feels like home
