The Spirit of God dwells freely amongst the people here. There is revival welling up here. The teaching is biblically consistent with sound doctrine. The elders and pastors have great wisdom and a servants heart. The church is financially responsible and transparent. It’s a very welcoming congregation where you can just come as you are.

This church makes me want to move to San Angelo. I love the community here and the biblical way the church is run. It just feels like how a church should be. Holy Spirit lead.

Most loving pastors and staff I’ve ever encountered. When you come to freedom you are met with so much genuine love and acceptance. I’ve been coming here since I was a freshman in high school and now I’m about starting my last year of college. They have been with me through every season (good and bad) and been the perfect community to help my relationship with the lord flourish. The best advice I can give when coming here is come as you are and be prepared for the love and to be changed in the best way possible because the spirit of the lord is here! ❤️

The leadership does it right. The pastor, Harold Watkins, preaches from the Bible and the congregation is involved in various outreach programs. People are from all walks of life from the homeless to doctors.

I know there are a lot of great churches and great people in the area. I think a couple of things that make Freedom stand out are its diversity and its giving spirit. Whether people have a lot or a little, they have given, and God sees that! I am reminded of the verse, "Do not despise humble beginnings." I know this fellowship came from a humble heart and beginning, and I know my aunt and uncle truly care to reach the heart of this city even after all these years :)
