Do NOT send LITERAL CHILDREN to my door to solicit for your church. Not only is that highly unwanted, it is extremely dangerous for children to be running around handing out flyers. Especially when people have put out "No solicitors" signs …

Back in the early part of 2012, my Hearing Dog, Snickers, and I visited on a Sunday morning. It seemed nice at first, but while the pastor was speaking, which is typical in the ifb (independent fundamental Baptist), he made cutdown remarks towards other churches that aren’t similar to his. One particular remark was regarding the undergarments that endowed members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints wear. It is true that they do, however it had absolutely nothing to do with his sermon, neither was it his business to talk about. I needed to clarify what he said so I politely interrupted. He was very taken back by it and summoned his then -18 year old son next to him in order to tell me to leave. He said I could have talked with him privately about this, but because I also have an ifb background, I know as fact that he would not accept what I had to say. Now, I was, at the time, living in my camper in the city park campground nearby. There have been a few times that I have seen his vehicle around the park, which I perceived that I was being stalked. After noticing it a few times, it stopped. I really would have to throw caution out there regarding any ifb churches, as they are accountable to no one but God and they will tell anyone that. Thankfully, after I married in 2018 and a few years later, my wife and I returned to the church she was baptized in as an eight-year old and that I had joined in 1993 but left due to pressure and lies I had been told about it. That church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Perhaps if more people would read the Book of Mormon, they would find out that it refers to the same Jesus Christ, whom we reflect upon His death, burial and resurrection this Easter week, but even more so than the Bible actually does. As for the people who will be in Heaven, there are actually thousands of denominations, and almost just as many ifb’s, but what’s really sad is the vast majority don’t get along with each other. Eternity is an awfully long time to be with people that one disagrees with, of which no one is willing to make the first move.

Extremely inappropriate behavior from church-affiliated women. Women claiming to be from this church came to our home soliciting—but instead of focusing on their message, they took it upon themselves to try to flirt with my husband. It's disgusting there are really bad women here.

I visited Sunday worship on 6/9/24. I immediately felt the warm welcoming, the people have a kinder spirt and the pastor sermon was very moving.Im a true believer "Seeing is believing". With that being said the negative comments were not justified.

Freedom Baptist Church is one big loving family. Praise God for their outreach efforts over the years. Whenever I attend the message is just what I needed to hear. It's small, strong church that walks and talk in the Name of the Lord. Amen

It's a church where all the adult women wear long dresses down to their ankles. Now these aren't regular going out to church dresses, they look like home made Wal-Mart fabric dresses. I don't know what kind of Babtist church this is but, it's a bit too radical for me.

When someone has a “No Soliciting” sign on the front porch, that doesn’t me go ahead and cram a phamplet through the door.
