This place changed my life forever. Born & raised as Methodist . Pastor Dr Tommy Brummet very excellent & staffs are very friendly. I loved the chance I was able to complete my Disciple 1 🙏 Then got addicted did Discipleship 2 with Pastor Ed , not to mention I had visited the Holy Land for 14 days. Fully blessed 😇

We were there for a funeral for a family member. The Pastor met with the family before the funeral in a warm, caring, private service. The service was up-beat and positive for a young man taken away too early in his life. The pastors gave caring homilies with great stories and memories. Family members provided scripture readings, tributes, and more personal memories. The soloist sang a great anthem. The organist played the hymns at an up-beat tempo to help support the joy and celebration of our family member's life. He will be greatly missed and the church provided a caring, supportive place and people to help ease our loss and grief. After the service the "church ladies" had a reception with beautiful tables of fruits, cheeses, crackers, and a large variety of homemade bakery treats! Coffee and a variety of juices were available. It was a meaningful service with up-beat tributes and memories followed by a reception with light treats that lent to conversations with family and friends. I'm sure this church is a warm and caring place for worship and service. The facility was wheelchair handicapped accessible. It appears to be under renovation and the changes will be welcomed for convenience. Parking is available across the street. Additional wheelchair handicapped accessible parking would be helpful. The restroom was fully wheelchair handicapped accessible!

If you are looking for a new church to join, I'd definitely recommend this one. They welcome all new guests with open arms and the worship services are wonderful. They also offer childcare & preschool/elementary Sunday School classes.

Pastor Tommy is absolutely the best pastor we have ever had. He’s always positive and obviously loves what he does. The church has programs for all ages/interests. If you’re looking for a church home, come visit and you’ll stay!

Pastor Tommy, your sermon was amazing. You touched on the events going on in our world with love and understanding.Janet, your prayer was heartfelt. Our church means so much to Don and me.. We miss the fellowship, the music, and the love that abides in our church.. Thank you all for the positive thoughts we need so much right now.

My girlfriends daughter and I got our Johnson and Johnson Covid-19 shots here. This was a really well run event. I didn't go inside the church but it looks like a nice place. I appreciate the church allowing good things to be done for the people of the community! Thanks to the church and the volunteers for helping to make people of the area safer!

I have been a member for years. I love my church. We have nursery, children's ministry, and youth ministry. Adult outreach is also awesome. Communion is the first Sunday of the month and is open to all people. Communion has gluten and dairy free options.

Such a wonderful and loving congregation. Pastor Tommy is amazing, and his sermons are always well done. Such a great childcare program, and they are happy to include and work with special needs children as well.

Can’t say enough about the fellowship at First UMC McKinney. The people and staff are great. Top notch children’s and nursery ministry. The historic Sanctuary sets the atmosphere of the solitude of worship.

I loved having my wedding at First United Methodist Church of McKinney. Nita, the wedding coordinator, and Rev. Doug Fox were so welcoming that my in-laws are considering moving to McKinney so they can attend services there! The premarital counseling services are truly life-changing. The venue was historical and breath-taking. Overall, they provided a beautiful and memorable experience.

We love the folks at FUMC, friendly, kind, and loving. Very Mission minded, never a dull moment with much to do Bible studies, Sunday schools, teaching and learning opportunities. Praise be to God!
