  I returned to Ellis County recently and have been truly blessed visiting First Methodist-Waxahachie. It is the beautiful church building with a great central location that offers ideal community involvement. It's difficult to drive any place that you don't drive near it. The Church is active in the community, widespread. I'm looking to associate with action minded Christians. The church outreach is impressive. I've joined an interesting class there with many people I know from other community involvement. Considering the possibility of joining this church in the coming year. It is both formal and informal enough to fit my needs.

  We love our church! Pastor Ron Bellamy was wonderful and we truly miss him! With a busy end of summer, we have not been able to attend much to get a feel for the new pastor. Hopefully he will be just as good, but those are hard shoes to fill. Val in children's ministry is the sweetest, kindest lady ever and my son loves her!

  FUMC Waxahachie has been an excellent church family for my children to grow up in. I have an 11, 9, and 7 year old and they have lead worship, enjoy midweek and have served our community through mission work. Our Sunday school class offers thought provoking discussions, fellowship and plenty of opportunities to jump in and serve. Please come and hear Dr. Kevin Tully preach and you will be hooked. We now offer traditional and modern worship services, so you can attend whichever style you prefer. My family likes to visit both.

  If your looking for a church which inspires you and lifts you, this could definitely be your home church. If you believe a church is there to better it's community by its service and outreach, this could be your home church. If you want a church that provides a safe, educational, enlightening and supportive atmoshpere for you and your children, this is certainly your home church. The doors are open and I have experienced the good and the joy everyone in this church shares.
