  I just moved to Corpus for emergency reason explained to this Church on email and asked for assistance. The response was thru email saying I had to be there by 9:30am Thursday, come Thursday showed up early 7:00am. Persons working inside Church opened doors and told all of us in line that Gloria was coming in late. So came 9:30 am Gloria shows up and tells everyone that 60 and up they will be helping that day and rest can go home come back next Thursday. I left devastated need of rental assistance. to turn anyone that needs any assistance is crucial. I emailed and let them know how easy Gloria turned us down. A reply I recieved from maybe same person acting out as other person. And said to be there the next Thursday at 9:30am, waited there for my turn gave all my information to Gloria, when within minutes im out of her office telling me for me to call her back next Wednesday. That Wednesday July 2nd come and I call her, she calls me leaving a message saying she needs information to finish my application. I was confused she's had all information when the second Thursday she saw me for 2 minutes she took copies. And now this. I have been waiting for my help and I think I have lost my patience and late for rent. This is wrong to do to me or anyone else. If you can not assist people because I complained about you on email don't meant you can have me waiting for this help. I pray for you Gloria to repent and that you will not lose your job and find yourself in need one day. Remember God is good when we do good deeds. God Bless you. I leave it to God and his vengeance is of God.

  You can't try an do God's work. An not want to do what he has called you to do. We all belong to him. You shouldn't pick an choose who you want to help. God sees everything.

  We went to a wedding at this church. The female pastor was both condescending and controlling. She went chasing family members down the aisle and yelling at them to sit down, when the wedding was already over. Totally unprofessional behavior for a pastor. I would never set foot in this church again, for any reason. Two stars for the pretty church. Zero stars for this pastor.

  We are new to Corpus and have visited several churches in our area. We attended the contemporary service our first visit and have been to the traditional service a few times also. Both services are great and the music is AMAZING!!! As well as the messages in sermons. We are seriously considering becoming members even though it's all the way across town for us to commute to. We highly recommend this church even if you are just visiting. God Bless!!!

  This imposing looking edifice houses an amazing come as you are active in the community congregation. Shorts and tennis shoes are fine. We enjoy the early garden service together, the yoga services (yes you read that correctly) for my wife, the 930 contemporary music service when we sleep in, and the traditional 1100 service (with children's Sunday school).

  Referred to by Community Action was told they are great help at this church. I did not feel great at all speaking with Deena, she had NO SYMPATHY whatsoever, I've never seen someone so EMOTIONLESS in a church setting, i was in dire need of assistance, She said the PASTOR decided not to help you , a single mother of 2 children in need of assistance that he will not help. May God Bless you both for he sees all.

  How unsympathetic can a pastor & other employees working in a church, be to a woman who is a single mother and asking for help. She was turned down and looked down on. She left feeling that much more horrible from there than what she already was. That's just horrible to know this church made a woman who was struggling feel this bad when she was just asking for assistance. She wasn't asking for the world.
