  Just because a few weeks ago I had to leave at the beginning of a service, TODAY, this morning I REALLY WANTED TO WORSHIP JESUS WITH EVERYONE but the bad security guards completely would NOT LET ME INSIDE. THEIR SPECIFIC REASON WAS BECAUSE I HAD LEFT THE SERVICE EARLY A FEW WEEKS AGO.. HOW VERY VERY HORRIBLE.. I PURELY WANTED ONLY TO ENJOYABLY WORSHIP JESUS CHRIST... HOW SAD... ILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN EVER... THE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH IS A GOOD ONE THOUGH.. I KNOW THAT THAT CHURCH HAS REAL LOVE.....JOHN 17:3 EVERYONE......The whole situation seemed to me very wrong.

  Acoustics are very well done. The flying buttressed sanctuary is reminiscent of a Gothic cathedral with wooden carvings and is highlighted with large stained glass windows featuring religious scenery. Plenty of seating in the Sanctuary. Large pipe organ in the back of the Sanctuary.

  The space is architecturally beautiful and worship is vibrant, uplifting. The music is fine with choir and pipe organ. It was a special day when we visited (11am traditional) so the recessional included bagpipes. Dress is mostly formal but we felt accepted as we were.

  Very pretty on the inside. Tucked away in a neighborhood north of downtown San Antonio. Was here for a volunteer symphony performance. It sounded really good in the chapel.

  It's such a beautiful church with a lot of history. The architecture and workmanship are gorgeous. The parishioners are friendly and welcoming. The pastors teaching was Bible based. He connected God's word to the people and was easy to understand.

  I think the church is capable of doing great things but, the morning prayer in the 0930 contemporary service by a female leader was notable missing a prayer for Palestinians. The female leader prayed for Ukrainians and Jews in Israel but not Palestinians. It is very sad.

  This Church has a meet and greet for the homeless community. The bunch here is different from the ones at Haven for Hope. This is directly across from the newspaper. Although I did see the usual drug contacts, they didn't go in. I went almost everywhere on the first floor, the second floor is where showers are. I had punch and lemonade, perhaps sugar free. I did not eat anything, from there I went to Fuddruckers! But, for the actual homeless this must be a fantastic opportunity to meet people who are making a difference in the community. Thank you.

  The SA hope team does an excellent job in providing help with ID recovery...Mr. John..Mr. Chris..Pastor Bob...Ms. Abby and all the staff have a sense if urgency to help those in need...they helped me with my social and birth certificate....God bless you all

  I never been involved in a denomination,,, One of the best choices I've every made , real down to earth People who love there city. Love there Lord and savior. And most of all love people..... Thank you First Presbyterian Church....and the journey continues.

  Laodicae. As a traveling visitor I've visited a lot of churches and I mean a lot of churches. Today I was at a service where connections was a huge part, but honestly I've not felt so disconnected in a community of fellow Christians in a long long time. As if I wasn't there, people looking at me like 'who is that' and not bothering to connect at all.
