This is a friendly church! On my family’s first visit we walked in not knowing anyone. By the end of the worship service we felt like we were right where we belong. Pastor Angela is engaging and leaves you excited for the next Sunday! Her sermons are easy to understand, yet thought provoking with a bit of humor thrown in as a bonus!

My husband and I relocated from Arizona to Texas a year ago. First Presbyterian Church of Granbury became our faith family soon after. With the message of Christ’s love filling each sermon, a welcoming congregation, and traditional hymns led by a wonderful choir, for us “It was meant to be “! If you are new to the area as well or searching for a church we invite you to visit. Rev. Angela Madden Scott is our new inspirational pastor.

This was my first time ever to step foot into a Presbyterian church. My family and I arrived just as the bell was to ring for service. This is a beautiful church with wooden floors and pews. Not too big, not too small; just the right size. We saw predominantly older people there, with a few younger faces. A very friendly congregation, though. The choir was really good, and I know there is a fantastic hand bell choir, too!

This location is a small historic church. It is very nice with metal ceilings and painted and mosaic windows. There is ample parking around the church with handicap accessibility parking. There is an interim new pastor at this church. The attendees are very nice and cordial. This was and is a great experience to visit and become a member.

Wonderful service and message. Very friendly and receptive congregation. Special musical number with hand bells! The members that played wore black gloves to improve tone and take care of the bells. Pastor Travis performed the sweetest baptism of a two month old baby boy. Definitely going back plus the church was built in the 1890s!!

The church is warm and friendly. Pastor is good and has a very good manner with the children. I like the service and the music is really good. There is a choir and last Sunday there was a saxophone quartet. The church building is beautiful.
