We’ve been fans of First for a long time!! Kind & caring staff, awesome facilities and programs for everyone. We love how they use the building for the community and have many great options for kids! It’s also cool that they interpret for the deaf community too! Y’all give it a try!

Visited there recently looking for a new home church. Beautiful facility and a lot of people attending which is great! One thing i would recommend improving on is the sound, My wife and I were seated under the balcony but everything was at such a low volume as we really struggled to hear the speakers for the announcements and the sermon and the my wife said the music was "quiet" also. We are not saying we like loud (as we have found in a couple other churches in the area) but we simply count not hear well enough to follow the pastor's message. I have issues with my hearing as a veteran but my wife doesn't. We were a little disappointed. I am not sure we will go back but I would ask that your sound techs check the sound levels throughout the service

First McKinney has been our '2nd home' for many years. It is a family of Christ-followers that is as welcoming and genuine as it is passionate for demonstrating Jesus' love both locally and globally. Sermons are always based upon Scripture and communicated by a humble staff. There are many opportunities for individuals and families from all walks and stages of life to get plugged in, find encouragement, and grow in their faith. Our children have grown up through the incredible childrens and youth programs at First McKinney and found an environment that is safe, supportive, instructional, and fun!

Been coming to this church since I first moved to McKinney from Waco back in Aug of 2017. After graduating college, I really struggled in finding young adult connections my own age that were also in similar life situations. Got connected to the Singles/Young Adult group, and have made some great friends there! Everyone is super friendly and supportive, and Pastor Sam is likewise just as friendly and engaging to talk to. I’m glad I’ve found a community of fellow believers that can keep me accountable and encourage me.

My family and I just moved back to the area and started attending FBC McKinney again. I cannot even begin to tell you how thankful I am for this church family. The worship on Sunday morning is incredible. Our small group has been so supportive of us and we've made tons of friends. I feel like we are finally home.

After 2 years of searching we found our church home here at First McKinney. From the moment you walk in its one of the most welcoming places we have ever been. After 5 months we joined the church, were baptized and I can't see is growing our faith any place else. The children's ministry is amazing which is a plus but it's truly the people that make this church a family.

We can’t say enough great things about our church family. The youth and children’s ministry are both amazing programs. We feel so blessed to be a part of each of them. The church staff truly loves and serves not only our church family but also the surrounding community. If you are looking for a church that is mission focused, has Biblically sound preaching, and has its doors open to imperfect people then this is the place you need be.
