My husband and I love this church. The pastor is bold, courageous and truthful. The teaching is from the Bible and applied to current events in our community and our world at large. Lot's of opportunity for growth and connections. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to partake in activities.

I love how this group of believers is committed to God’s word with unusually excellent teaching, fellowship, and community service. In the past we were broken hearted that another church we attended avoided having a godly political voice in the community. This body has a commitment to tracking what is going on in local and state and federal government through the Social Action Committee, and impacting our community for the Kingdom of God.

This church is my family, they have always been so loving and caring. When I first came to Abilene and began coming to this church with my husband, I felt so welcomed immediately. The pastor is amazing and I always leave feeling so grateful and touched. I’m so blessed to have this as a safe place to worship, and love Jesus. They always support and help each other anyway they can, it’s wonderful.

I love this church, my Dad’s the pastor so I’m a bit biased. He’s got six kids, been married to one woman for something like 30 years, and has pastored a number of churches throughout his long and blessed career. The building is absolutely beautiful with all sorts of amenities, space for everyone, super clean, with plenty of room to grow. It’s not flashy or showy, just open, comfortable, and feels like I church you could call home. The staff and congregation are down to earth and super friendly. Most of us kids are / were in the military and live all across the US, so we can’t attend regularly - but I attended the Fourth of July church and loved it. Dad teaches the Bible, points to Jesus, and loves this country. I know you’ll love it. I hear they’re going to have some spectacular fireworks next summer!

We moved from the DFW area last summer, in part because of this incredible church. Our church there shut down for nine months, so we started coming over to Abilene to visit my parents on the weekend and be able to go to church. Full disclosure, my dad is the senior pastor here. But we love this church because of the people - these are some of the friendliest, most down-to-earth people you will ever met! This must be where the term “church family” originated. If you are looking for authentic relationships and a church family to be part of - there’s no better place to be! The worship is so moving and beautiful, and the preaching isn’t bad either.

Today many drivers were blessed by a family that took a little of their time to make us feel like family. and we can enjoy a dinner of thanksgiving. Ps: Felix a truck driver

If you are looking for a family that supports you, loves you, and genuinely cares for you, this is it. Over the past two years, the people of this church have become my family, my brothers, sisters, aunt, uncles, and everything in between. The sermons hit the at the core of pain and hurt in this world. Pastor Harlan speaks truth from scripture. He seeks to teach people to hear God’s voice in our hearts and minds, and to act on our purpose. This is a conservative, God-fearing, hands in the community church. May God bless this church. May every person who needs a family and hasn’t met Christ personally come meet Him here.

I visited Easter of 2014 and was impacted by the genuine love of the members I met. 6 years later and I have developed a greater appreciation for this Church. In addition to great people , there are lots of classes offered and groups with volunteer opportunities to serve. The teaching is Bible centered and much wisdom among the leadership here.

Very compassionate and ministerial to not only the congregation but to our community coming alongside them to help them identify and provide city resources

When my daughters & I moved to Abilene, I had planned on visiting 3-4 churches prior to selecting our new church home. The first Sunday here, we went to FCN, & I knew how I felt, but wanted to get the girls’ opinions as well. They told me when we were leaving that they didn’t want to visit another church, they liked this church. And I felt the exact same way! I knew we were home as soon as I walked in. The people were so friendly and genuinely interested in us and our story. We have been so blessed by this church family, I know it was a God thing that we are here. 💕 hi guys- Madison
