Went with a friend to pick up from the food bank truck. They didn't ask for any ID, just asked her how many families she was picking up for & they gave her several cases of snacks, bags of potatoes, onions, 12 pks of drinks, etc! She was very very happy!! (I wish some place offered organic, healthy food for me though)! If you're in need of food, it's a great place to go! Blessings to all!!

They were so kind and generous and made our trip to see George Strait stees free by providing parking in theor parking lot! Instead of of latching on to the greed that many other businesses, schools, and even churches did, they were generous and offered their parking lot free of charge!

Update - Thank you for the swift reply. From the way the document was worded it sounded as though it implied collusion. Why is your church named in a 9/27/205 FARA document that outlines an Israel propaganda campaign that includes, “outreach and education to Christian leaders”, and targeted geofencing (tracking people’s cellphones that attend your church) for targeted Pro Israel ads?

Used to be good. This was my home church for a couple of years throughout college, but I've decided to change. In the recent times, they've modernized it so bad it feels like a concert more than a church. They have installed light towers and light bars, turned up the smoke machine, and put the drums front and center. I initially came to this church because it wasn't like the others with fancy lights and a smoky haze, but now this one is plagued with it too. I want to go to church and hear a good sermon and sing along to a couple songs, not head bang to them in a concert like setting. You used to be good, but now are like all the other Baptist churches. Such a shame because it is a beautiful building.

Good church but a little bit too lax on following the true word of God. But I like only using the King James version of the Bible. And they don't care what Bible you use. Plus the music was good but loud and more like being at a rock concert then a gospel program for church. Plus I would have gave higher ratings for some of the old time classic hymns, but I didn't recognize a single song they sang at all. And I've been to church all my life thousands of times. overall still a good experience especially since I have family that goes there. Thank you!

I've been going to this church for almost a decade now - and these people are so wonderful! They are supportive and loving and the sermons are filled with so much truth that hits home, and not just a feel good lesson.

Loving my Church! It's big! Takes time to get to know folks. But, the people have a heart for each other and a heart for the community of Lubbock. Come join us, come stay for a few Sundays!

Coming out to tech there were a dozen different churches to pick from and at FBC, especially at paradigm, they just do a lot to make students feel welcome and its become a huge part of my life! The worship services are absolutely amazing and everyone there is so welcoming!

The music/worship is tremendous. The preaching is Biblical and applicable. The small group Bible studies give it a small church feel and a great place to grow in faith and fellowship. This is a church of mission and service...locally and around the world. It is a great place for every age group, but especially for young families with children and teens. Member since 2000.

First Lubbock was the church that I chose to attend as a freshman in college. The word is challenging, and the solid community is refreshing and encouraging. FL has been one of the most impactful parts of my life during college.

There is a strong sense of missions, community, and authenticity at FBC Lubbock. I am proud to have been able to serve there for multiple years and would reccomend it to anyone as a wonderful and impactful church home with a true heart for the people of Lubbock.

FCL is not a building but a gathering of God’s people who have formed a family to minister to one another, Lubbock and the world. The Word of God is shared in Bible Study and by the action of it’s members. Love shines in this facility.

God has a plan. All along, and for always, He is putting into action this plan He has created. We are all given a part to play-a certain journey-and asked to do everything we can with it. For some, that journey is different. For those with a disability, the trust that God has placed upon them to bear this affliction is astounding. They were not chosen to be less than anyone. They were chosen to be stronger, braver, and, most likely, a little more compassionate than most of the world. Unfortunately this church has Deciding not to let 2 boys with disabilities join based off their disability. Dont think they would let Jesus in either.

As a freshman, FBC Lubbock was one of the many churches I wanted to visit, however, it's the only one I've continually attended. There are so many different ways to get involved, and there's really something for everyone.
