Best preaching of Gods Word I have found in North Texas. Brother Bob McCartney preaches scripture with application for today's living. There are friendly, loving, strong, bold assistant Pastors and excellent Spiritual Guidance through expounded Biblical Scripture. The Gospel is preached every Sunday and specific study classes are on Wednesday. Life groups are encouraged to develop supporting Christian values and relationships. I Love the Lords Church and His Word.

I was pretty much in this church every day when I was younger. I was an odd child that wore black because I found comfort in it. Each time I was at church to worship I was told by other kids and even a few youth leaders that I was going to hell. They all thought I wasn't Christian because I wore black. I never found God's children or his love at this Church. When I told someone I was told I deserved it and I was ignored. All I learned from this church was that your devotion doesn't matter unless you look like their idea of a Christian. Anyways I like to blame that I got this treatment because I wore a lot of black and not because I was the only Indigenous person going to the church at the time. I found no kindness here so I'll leave one more sentence. "Judge as ye will be judged" dear "true christians"

I don’t like to rate churches as other businesses, although most are running like them

Wonderful church and Pastor Bob is just the best! They have wonderful children's programs as well as adult life groups. Sundays offer 3 different services so there's one for everyone! Wednesday night services include dinner and a class for everyone. Great place to worship! Come join us one Sunday morning.

the Pastor is very Bible based. Does not try to be excepted by the world by not talking about the controversial topics. Pastor Bob will speak Biblical truth on all topics. Great small groups environment to get to know other Christians and good bible studies as well.

We have been members of this church since 2018. Once got involved in our life group in 2022 and it had changed our lives. We have a real sense of community and a lot of people we can count on. Pastor Bob is always honest in his preaching and relatable.

Actually discovered this church playing American Truck Simulator. I thought it was cool that I could find the real life church that was shown in the game. I'd definitely visit if I lived closer...

We visited a couple of churches in town but this one really moved us! Love the contemporary worship service. Love to hear Pastor Bob preach! Great worship in song too! First Baptist became our church home and we were recently Baptized! If your looking for a church home come visit First Baptist!

I enjoy Pastor Bob's sermons. He is real, he uses powerful real life examples and humor to tie in with his sermons to help explain. In a world where things are so crazy, the humor is a very nice "icing on the cake." I appreciate all FBC staff, especially those in youth/teen ministry. They work countless hours to plan and prepare for our children.

We participated in upwards basketball. I loved everything about it. The couches were great and kind to the kiddos. They taught them lessons over kindness, truthfulness, etc. In the beginning, it looked like the couches were trying to herd cats, but at the end of the season, it was a basketball game. My kiddo was in the younger group.
