My experience going here was horrible. Several years ago, my husband was in the hospital & I saw this church advertised on television. Since we are from Ok, I decided to go based off of what the commercial showed. I was late because I turned down the wrong road. When I walked in, there were several people at the desk and nobody got up to greet me, welcome me nothing they just looked at me like I was an alien. I asked which entrance should I take and one of them just pointed. I ended up sitting in the balcony. After service I went down to receive prayer for my husband and the pastor wasn’t to welcoming either. I went back the following Sunday and sat down in the main sanctuary and the pastor wasn’t there this Sunday and the guest pastor was okay on what he was talking about. Now God might have worked on hearts in that church but they never saw me again and never will. They don’t receive those who don’t look like them (skin color) at all and there was only one other person of color there who didn’t even speak, brainwashed probably. They are probably following a man, Trump and not God, but God created us all in His image and He sees the hearts of others and He’s not pleased. Thank God at my church, we receive all and they are welcome. Don’t be fooled by 1st Baptist Church of Texarkana commercial either. They better get right with God especially the Pastor because Gods going to hold him more accountable for how he is leading the flock.

We love our church. This place is wonderful and truly loves people. The truth is preached and taught here and it’s very welcoming. Thank you Jesus for churches like this

A few years ago I had the impression that FBC Texarkana was another Giant Freezer like church. My wife and I had attended other churches in town and we felt that we needed to try something different. Both of us grew up active in all areas of service and we needed an experience like that. She suggested we'd attend FBC Texarkana and I agreed. When we walked into the building, we were greeted and welcomed. The service started and I could tell I'd fell in love with the way we Worshipped that day. The worship prepares you to receive the Word of God spoken through Pastor Jeff Schreve. "If all the Sundays are like that, I want that", I said. It made feel like I was home, right away. Then we joined the Choir and everyone welcomed us with open arms. Now that we have children, we love how the children's ministry works.

It has been a privilege to financially and prayerfully support this church as it reaches the World with the simple message of the Gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ! I live in another state but if I lived closeby..this would be the Church I’d attend! Pastor Jeff is a gifted speaker and has Podcasts in addition to his UTUBETV broadcasts..He and his wife are world changers!

Love this church family. From worship, to Pastor Jeff's messages, youth, and children's programs, along with everything else you can plug into here, it feels like home. I am encouraged in my walk with the Lord through this church.

When I was in the area, I attended several services, what a blessing I received. The music and choir were excellent. and at every service Pastor Jeff delivered a message from the Bible, the Holy Spirit resides in the man and the Church. God bless.

The music is good, showing the lyrics and having very good talent (s). The gospel has been preached each time we have visited currently, giving way to baptism each Sunday morning. The test will be that of the practices of Easter (bunny egg laying, egg hunting etc.)as well as the celebration of Christmas (where parents lie to their own children). If Christian, then as such should not be as the world, but children of God. Will become possibly more involved if God permits and makes way, but until then, I love the guest parking 😉.

Welcoming on a true level not just superficially like churches Are all supposed to be. When you speak with members or staff you have their attention, not just their time. Prayer requests are meticulously read and dedicated members spend hours asking God for his help in your life. Great celebrate recovery on Tuesday nights as well!
