I don't feel comfortable sharing every detail, but I was very disappointed with how my family's membership process was handled. My family and I were excited about making this church our home, and we genuinely enjoyed the church family and fellowship. However, our interaction with the pastor left us feeling unwelcome. During the conversation, he expressed disapproval of us driving about 30 minutes to attend this church and made comments that felt insulting and discouraging, including calling us "stupid" for making that choice. It was surprising and hurtful, especially since we were seeking a church home where we could grow in our faith and become more involved. While we appreciated many of the people in the congregation, this experience with the pastor ultimately overshadowed that and made us reconsider our decision. I hope this feedback is taken as an opportunity to reflect on how new families and prospective members are welcomed.

This is my church. I love the pastors. Pastor Bart teaches using Scripture. Just scripture. The rest of the ministry team is great as well they are heavily screened and prayerfully selected. Bookkeeping is transparent. Refreshing. Plus, while I like worship, I also like a choir, and this church uses a choir and mixes old hymns with new contemporary worship music, as well as incorporating other genres of music in its worship. Never know what to expect. I love it. (Rock,bluegrass,soul,r&b) Great place for kids and family.

Thank you so much for the beautiful service for my aunt today. Pastor Barber was wonderful and has a servants heart. Thanks to all of the volunteers who fed our family and musicians and staff who helped serve our family and comfort us through this entire ordeal. To say we appreciate them coming out on a holiday when they could be with their families is an understatement.

I got to know Dr. Barber via X, and from time-to-time pass through Farmersville when visiting family. When able I visit this church, and would recommend it to anyone in this area.

I love the expository teaching. I appreciate the dedication of so many who pour their service of love into the people of Farmersville as well as missions. The children's ministry is well rounded with much opportunity for families. The church has a firm foundation. I am always so blessed to see so many who study the word of God and live by the Truth of the Word.

Our Pastor .. our congregation... Our faith are strong and true and that is why I keep coming back ... The Lord brought me and my family here and who is to argue with God. Plus we do a ton of things with missions and helping the community which are vital to spreading the word of God.
