This church has a beautiful facility and is obviously active in reaching their community for Christ. We attended for a wedding but I was particularly impressed with the pastor and had the opportunity for a private conversation with him. If …

We LOVE FBC the staff and volunteers, they always go above and beyond for every child, adult and member. We HAVE always felt welcomed since day one. The way they outreach to the community, and them picking up children from school on Wednesdays to not only feed them, but to show the love of Jesus to everyone. First Baptist church Terrell, we thank you for ALL the love and making everyone feel so loved and welcomed. This was yet another GREAT VBS and I heard so many grateful parents telling workers how much their children got out of it and looked forward to coming each day. The Leaders and volunteers pouring love and kindness into each child. It truly shows! ❤️ Thank you! 🙏

We had such a wonderful experience at this year’s Vacation Bible School! My kids looked forward to going every day and came home full of excitement, stories, and songs. The staff and volunteers created a fun, safe, and welcoming environment where every child was encouraged to learn, grow, and explore their faith. What stood out the most to me was how much my children learned—not just about the Bible, but also about kindness, teamwork, and confidence. The crafts, music, and themed activities were so creative and engaging. It was clear that a lot of love and effort went into making VBS special for every child. I’m truly grateful to the church for hosting such a meaningful week for our family. We’ll definitely be coming back next year!

I'm completely appalled at how this church treated my grandson in VBS today. We have always attended church faithfully as a family and I have never heard of a church much less a Pastor saying it's Best a child not come back to VBS. He has looked forward to this all week and so has my granddaughter. I guess there wasn't adequate supervision and he and another child in the 5 year old class had some sort of altercation which my little grandson said he was being choked by the other child and took up for himself. We will never and mean NEVER have any dealing with this church again.
