More Questions Than Answers Never been to a church that didn’t need money. A very small congregation, fewer than 150, without a money problem, according to the pastor. Excess of $100k in the bank after just just spent over $50 thousand repairing the roof. They had paid off the mortgage in 3 years according to a long time member. While attending, it looked to me that about 25% of the people made an offering. I asked them about making an online offering; “no, we don’t do that here” was the answer. When the offering was about to be picked up, the pastor didn’t push for any amount to be given; but, instead indicated, don’t give if you can’t afford it. First church I’ve been to that didn’t want contact information on a new person or kept any kind of records on there congregation. “Show me the money “
