Formed in 2007 from the merger of Walter Fair UMC and Glenwood UMC, they have become an oasis for United Methodists in the region. The church emphasizes a connected community, reflecting John Wesley's vision that 'the world is our parish.'

**Disclaimer** yes, I am related to most recent former Director, that is not the reason behind my distrust and feelings of betrayal I now have. I did so much promoting and recommending for this daycare that I feel like I unknowingly lead them wrong. I don’t want other families to experience the same or similar. Personally with my child, behavioral situations were exaggerated upon, state guidelines were completely ignored and even their own policy ignored and/or made up on the spot; all of which has been reported. While it was not blatantly said, it was apparent that knowledge of personal things told to the pastor, in confidence and trust expected of a true pastor, were used to exaggerate and manipulate the situation. The final situation could have very easily been cleared by surveillance video. The situation did not involve another child and she had shown me surveillance just 2 weeks prior. I was told 3 different stories of a behavioral incident that did not line up. Not only that, but it was described to be, by far, way more extreme than any occurrence my child had ever had. My main concern was what was going on with him that lead up to the outburst and what kept him so upset for the time frame verbally described. My desire is to help my child. I was not even considering, in that moment, that the truth of my son’s outburst was not being told to me. Until the pastor refused to let me see the surveillance. While claiming to want to help and work together, the only response I now received was she didn’t have time to deal with the issues at hand and she wouldn’t show the video. Even when I pleaded with her to help me help my son, offered to let her edit whatever issue she was so worried about me seeing, she still refused. Come to find out my child wasn’t the only one with such so-called “outlandish” issues. And coincidentally enough they were all children of families that my sister-in-law had brought on.
