Temples connect heaven and earth. They are sacred spaces unique from houses of worship. My family and I live in McKinney and we look forward to attending this temple once it is built. I feel peace when I attend the Lords holy house. This building will be beautiful. The grounds will be beautiful and well kept. It will be a benefit to the community.

A temple always enhances the neighborhood. The very mention of a temple also brings out the worst venom in those doggedly opposed to anything and everything the church stands for. Regardless, this will be a beautiful addition to Fairview.

The temple will be beautiful and I am excited to live so close. Our world needs more people living out their beliefs everyday. Exhibiting faith, kindness, hope, and charity. Attending the temple fills me with more faith in Christ, hope in his promised blessings and kindness and charity towards others. I see so many great friends of multiple denominations, living their faith and doing good. This building is one of the ways that the LDS people live their faith.

I truly believe this will be a blessing to the community. These buildings bring peace and beauty to their surrounding areas. Miracles follow where they exist. “The temple is a point of intersection between heaven and earth. In this sacred place, holy work will be performed through selfless service and love. The temple reminds me of all that is good and beautiful in the world." —David A. Bednar

I'm excited for an LDS Temple in Texas. Why? Because temples always increase property values and the overall feel of the neighborhood. They're also a great way to boost the local economy and bring businesses back into the black.
